Historia
Melanie is a very special girl. Dr. Caldwell calls her "our little genius". Every morning, Melanie waits in her cell to be collected for class. When they come for her, Sergeant keeps his gun pointing at her while two of his people strap her into the wheelchair. She thinks they don't like her. She jokes that she won't bite, but they don't laugh. Melanie loves school. She loves learning about spelling and sums and the world outside the classroom and the children's cells. She tells her favorite teacher all the things she'll do when she grows up.

Unforgettably new
Revisado: 04-18-15
This was wonferful, it's the only way to describe it. Not only did the voice actor do an amazing job but the story itself is entirely captavating.
I could help but keep listening to this refreshing new take in an over saturated genre fascinated me.
Should be on everyone's to-read/listen list.

I can never get enough!
Revisado: 12-27-14
This was wonderful I have to say, it's potentially my favorite in the series with all of the humor I've come to love of the series and all of the semi-horror.
I especially like the way the author ended the story with his notes and epilogues, and it has to be said that the reader (Nicholas Guy Smith) has done an excellent job of bringing the whole varied cast of characters to life.

Historia
Jake Sullivan is a licensed private eye with a seriously hardboiled attitude. He also possesses raw magical talent and the ability to make objects in his vicinity light as a feather or as heavy as depleted uranium, all with a magical thought. It's no wonder the G-men turn to Jake when they need someoneto go after a suspected killer who has been knocking off banks in a magic-enhanced crime spree.

This made me a fanboy!
Revisado: 05-25-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I absolutely would, the story telling in it was stunning. The ideas themselves are refreshing and the characters are each so clearly individual people that you can't help but pick and choose your favorites feeling a real commitment and emotions for them.
I found myself rooting for the knights, and listening to section of the story with my breath held while waiting for the results.
This is an excellent story for anyone who enjoys a more modern feeling fantasy that will captivate them.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Hard Magic?
Without a doubt the best part of Hard Magic that really left me on the edge of my seat was near the end while Fae and Toshiko fought on the imperial warship. The unpredictability of the battle and the internal dialogue that came from Fae not only made it exciting but it was comical for just a moment as well.
The results of the battle were so brilliant and elegant with how it neatly wrapped up a part of the story and made for a wonderful and memorable metaphor.
What does Bronson Pinchot bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He is an excellent story actor, listening to him really helped me lose myself in the story especially with his distinct voices for each character. There were parts of the story when I forgot that I was listening to a single dictation and it felt like a whole cast, he has a wonderful voice.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book made me giggle in public which was very embarrassing but completely worth it, and it also had times when I would hold my breath stopping what I was doing anxiously listening for what would happen next.
Any additional comments?
After listening to the Monster Hunter series I was already counting myself amongst Larry Correia's fans, this book has galvanized that feeling.
I'm still a huge fan of the Monster Hunter books and I recommend them to anyone who wants a fun story, but it seems to me that the Hard Magic series is a serious refinement of his talents. I can't wait for his next story!

Would you recommend Reflex to your friends? Why or why not?
It's a great read for anyone who is a fan of modern science fiction and psychological references, so I would absolutely suggest it to at least a few of my friends who are fans of the genre.

Very smooth story telling with some very emotionally effective speaking. He also did a very good job at defining each different character with his speech which is always very good.

Historia
The Zombie War came unthinkably close to eradicating humanity. Max Brooks, driven by the urgency of preserving the acid-etched first-hand experiences of the survivors from those apocalyptic years, traveled across the United States of America and throughout the world, from decimated cities that once teemed with upwards of 30 million souls, to the most remote and inhospitable areas of the planet.

An amazing story!
Revisado: 07-02-12
What did you love best about World War Z?
I love how in depth the story reached, touching on topics that most people would have never suspected to have thought in a world of zombies.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I don't recall her name, but the fighter pilot lost in the woods was incredible!
What about the narrators’s performance did you like?
Each actor bought their own unique spin to each character and an intensity to their performance.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The ending to the Redeka story shocked me entirely.
Any additional comments?
If you're debating whether or not to listen to this one stop worrying and just do! Even if you've already read the novel listing to the voice crew adds a whole new effect!
