What did you love best about The New Space Opera?
There was not a single performance on this audio book that wasn't really good. Every reader improved the story with their performance.
What about the narrators’s performance did you like?
None of these readers was Jim Dale, with his myriad voices, but the male readers gave female characters believable voices, and the female readers did the same for the male. None of them detracted from the story.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Not really. But almost none of the stories made me anxious for an ending. They weren't all great stories, but none of them would be a flop, either.

Buyers of this audio book definitely get their money's worth, almost 18 hours of entertainment!

Would you try another book from Zhanna Hamilton and/or Sam Scholl?
Almost none of the pieces included had anything close to a closed ending. The stories were shallow and the events were predictable. Maybe that's why she closed her "stories" when she did; you could predict an ending, too. Just not a good one.
Would you ever listen to anything by Zhanna Hamilton again?
Perhaps, if she wrote a novel. Maybe she needs more length to develop characters and plots.
How could the performance have been better?
Find someone who has some expression in their reading. Where did you get this amateur?

A waste of the credit to buy it.

Would you consider the audio edition of Don't Judge a Girl by Her Cover to be better than the print version?
Haven't read the print version. But it would be hard to be better than the audio version.
What other book might you compare Don't Judge a Girl by Her Cover to and why?
Any of the Harry Potter books, to some extent, as read by Jim Dale.
What about Renée Raudman’s performance did you like?
She seems to have nailed the teenage girl sound.
