The Grey Man series is riveting. To say that this is just another great installment makes it sound like it is just another story. The narration is exceptional, the storyline in character development is near perfect. This is one of those stories that will keep you on the edge of your seat until you hear that “Audible hope you’ve enjoyed this program.“

Another fabulous book

The entire series is breathtaking. Every character is developed so well you can feel their emotions. My wife is a voracious reader, and has no interest in ever listening to a book. I played the portion of the fight in the alley for her. She was mesmerized. First, the writing is like literature, which is then truly brought to life by Scott Brick. And this series would still be wonderful to read, they would even be great with a different person reading them, however, Scott Bricks performance in the entire series brings you into the world of the characters better than any other I’ve heard.

Overall the book was very well written. The end seemed almost rushed but was still good and unexpected. Of course, Scott Brick gave an exceptional performance as usual.

Scott Brick is Scott Brick, perhaps the best narrator in the business now. L.T. Ryan never disappoints. This is a good, read very well.

Loved it

I discovered Gregg Hurwitz in the Orphan series. I exhausted that entire series as quickly (slowly) as my ears could listen. I say “slowly” because I loved the stories so much that I slowed the listening speed to 1.0 (for me novels are usually at 1.25) because Scott Brick’s narration was captivating and the story written like literature, I didn’t want them to end.

The same with “You’re Next.

I’ve become an Hurwitz/Brick addict. Why am I telling you??? Because I’m telling EVERYONE.

My new(ish) favorite author and narrator

I tried Orphan X on a whim because I didn’t see anything else available from my regular authors. I was immediately enraptured by the storyline, characters and the spectacular reading. This series is an absolute must read (listen). I normally listen to novels at 125%. I slow this down to 100% so I can listen longer, I never want to get to the end.

Again a fabulous effort, spellbinding through to the end. A little confusing as part of the McCalab background seems to be in “The Poet” which isn’t in this direct series.

Gripping! The best novel I’ve “read” in a long time

From the first paragraph then literally to the last, A book I just couldn’t stop listening to. The intrigue, the suspense, the narration is all top-notch. I have been recommending this book to everyone.
