Not worth it.
Revisado: 10-13-24
The narrator does an excellent job. Sound quality and pronounciation is good.
As for the content, I have so much criticism for this book. Know that, the author is not a geo-politicist, a scientist, or an economist, but rather a journalist, and the book is written accordingly. It is heavy on narrative and light on facts. The author seems to cherry pick evidence that supports her narrative, neglecting to mention or discuss widely understood emerging trends that challenge or serve to complicate their hypothesis. The analysis is not systematic, and the is often directly contradictory. Finally, I think it should state more clearly on the cover or in the description that the focus is almost exclusively on the perspective of the United states, and the speculative predictions of the author has little to no relevance to other countries.

The audiobook is a series of stories from Caitlin's first meeting with David Grove to the development of Clean Modeling for groups and contains the principles and models underpinning Systemic Modeling. It's as relevant to business leaders as it is to parents, to organizational development, as it is to creating learning communities.

Historia
For years, rumors of the 'Marsh Girl' have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand. Then the time comes when she yearns to be touched and loved.

lovely but the character voices killed me
Revisado: 04-15-24
The story is fine and well written. The narrator has a BEAUTIFUL voice with lovely, graceful and clear pronounciation. The words land in your ears like peaceful butterflies in a sunny meadow, very appropriate for this book. Unfortunately the narrator decides to read the character voices (in particular the males) in a breathy nasal tone, which I found very, very, very annoying...

A thousand years of history and contemporary evidence make one thing clear. Progress is not automatic but depends on the choices we make about technology. New ways of organizing production and communication can either serve the narrow interests of an elite or become the foundation for widespread prosperity.
