Historia
A burgeoning Power. Dormant followers. Ancient forces. Forgotten Allies. And Lurking Enemies. Will they clash? And when they do, will the Wolf emerge triumphant? Michael has come far in the Game since his somewhat-ignominious entry through Erebus’ dungeon. Now, a force to be reckoned with, he is more than a mere player and someone the Powers would do well to fear… But as Michael’s power has grown, so too has his Pack.

Historia
Michael has taken the Game by the throat. No longer content to lurk in the shadows, he has started down a path that will inevitably bring him into conflict with the Powers. But the Powers are no easy foes. Nor are they Michael’s only adversaries. Other enemies stir. Some confront him openly, while others watch patiently from the sidelines. A lone wolf no more, and with many of his own pieces in play, Michael may find himself more exposed than he believes. The stakes are high. And the schemes of the players convoluted.

Immersive adventure
Revisado: 11-06-23
This has been one of my favorite reads this year. I discovered it by chance, and I could not stop both listening and reading each and every chapter. This series is perfect for any DnD, isekai, or overall fantasy lover out there. Do not sleep on this one! I've listened to the first 4 books, and I can't wait for the rest!

Historia
When fifteen-year-old Eragon finds a polished blue stone in the forest, he thinks it is the lucky discovery of a poor farm boy. But when the stone brings a dragon hatchling, Eragon soon realizes he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself. Overnight his simple life is shattered, and, gifted with only an ancient sword, a loyal dragon, and sage advice from an old storyteller, Eragon is soon swept into a dangerous tapestry of magic, glory, and power. Now his choices could save—or destroy—the Empire.

Ehh.
Revisado: 09-07-21
read the book as a kid and loved it. listened to it and it was just eh. The speaker was okay, but made the Protagonist sounds whiny the whole time and every time I'd listen to the guttural talk of the Dragons "thoughts" it'd make me cringe. Story was not as great as I embedded with how everything comes so easy for the Protagonist.

Historia
My name is Kvothe. You may have heard of me. So begins a tale told from his own point of view - a story unequaled in fantasy literature. Now in The Wise Man’s Fear, Day Two of The Kingkiller Chronicle, Kvothe takes his first steps on the path of the hero and learns how difficult life can be when a man becomes a legend in his own time.

Don't listen to the haters
Revisado: 07-27-21
This is genuinely an amazing book that is very well paced and keeps you wanting to turn to the next page/ listen to the next chapter. The narration is on point and the story's visuals lure you into the world that Rothfuss has built. People who call it a slow pace or dislike it have either not given it a chance past a couple chapters or are overly critical of any story that isn't master class literature. Only downside is that there is no 3rd book yet. With that said, give this one a shot if you enjoy fantasy and adventure books.
