Historia
On a tiny island off the west coast of Ireland, the fishermen's handmade sweaters tell a story. Each one is unique - feelings stitched into rows, memories into patterns...It is here that Rebecca Moray comes to research a book on Irish knitting. With her daughter, Rowan, in tow, she hopes to lose herself into the history of the island and to forget her own haunting past. Before long, the warm embrace of the townsfolk wraps Rebecca and Rowan in a world of friendship, laughter, and love...

throughly enjoyable

I really enjoyed this story. Loved the weaving of knitting and spinning into the world of fishermen. Also the theme of dealing with self-inflicted guilt over events not totally within the Rebecca and Sean's control. Highly recommend.

Historia
Xanthe has always had an affinity with some of the antiques she finds. When she touches them, she can sense something of the past they come from and the stories they hold. When she has an intense connection to a beautiful silver chatelaine, she has to know more. It is while she’s examining the chatelaine that she’s transported back to the 17th century, where it has its origins. She discovers there is an injustice in its history. The spirit that inhabits her new home confronts her and charges her with saving her daughter’s life, threatening to take Flora’s if she fails.

Very Enjoyable

I've always enjoyed stories about traveling back in time. This is one of the best. Some insight about what is was like to be in the wrong religion in England in the 17th century. Interesting plot twists for the heroine as she strives to resolve the dilemmas placed in her path.
