an inspiring life story that is not a fairytale.
Revisado: 11-15-23
Though worthy seem to be written to inspire and empower women, I found it deeply insightful and helpful as a man. This is a story of a powerful woman who has a desired to look at her inner landscape and not running away at least for long from what she sees. She doesn’t share her story from a place of justifying or blaming, but from a willingness to look at her own shadow, and learn from it, and thereby forgiving the shadow in others . It’s inspiring to hear about the abiding love of Will and Jada, though it’s not what we often think as a traditional relationship, It’s clear that they have not settled for good enough, but are continuing ripening in their love, and sharing that with their children and community. No easy task when you have a the spotlight, a fame always shining on you. Thank you Jada for being so willing to share your story and your path with all of us. You are a true friend to me personally but more importantly, to all of us question whether or not, we are worthy.

So many people are attracted to the practice of meditation, only to quickly give up after wrestling with the many obstacles that seem to block their path. Don Rosenthal shares a surprising epiphany....the obstacles are the path. Here is a surprisingly personal story of one man's spiritual awakening which offers readers the encouragement to find their own way to an examined life, and an open heart.

A story of a man who has looked deeply
Revisado: 11-10-20
This book is a hidden treasure. The Uncharted Journey is a helpful road map for anyone who is interested in unwinding the core contraction of fear that so many of us feel. Don Rosenthal is a man who thinks deeply, In this book he explores some of the the most important and profound questions. What is our greatest fear? Is our safety based on what we do or have? Is there ever a good time to close our hearts? Is it safe to die?
Any who take the time to really contemplate the writing in this book will find answers to question they never thought to ask..

Historia
This mesmerizing first novel tells the epic journey of Lin, an escaped convict who flees maximum security prison in Australia to disappear into the underworld of contemporary Bombay. Accompanied by his guide and faithful friend, Prabaker, Lin searches for love and meaning while running a clinic in one of the city's poorest slums and serving his apprenticeship in the dark arts of the Bombay mafia. The keys to unlock the mysteries that bind Lin are held by two people: his mentor Khader Khan, mafia godfather and criminal-philosopher; and the beautiful, elusive Karla, whose passions are driven by dangerous secrets.
