Historia
In The Black Swan Taleb outlined a problem, and in Antifragile he offers a definitive solution: how to gain from disorder and chaos while being protected from fragilities and adverse events. For what Taleb calls the "antifragile" is actually beyond the robust, because it benefits from shocks, uncertainty, and stressors, just as human bones get stronger when subjected to stress and tension. The antifragile needs disorder in order to survive and flourish. Taleb stands uncertainty on its head, making it desirable, even necessary, and proposes that things be built in an antifragile manner.

Historia
Alex Marlow was just a 21-year-old UC Berkeley student when renowned media mogul Andrew Breitbart hired him as his first employee. Breitbart began mentoring Marlow on how to fight the culture war one headline at a time and to remain resilient in the face of personal attacks. Now, in this eye-opening and timely book, Marlow explains how the establishment press destroyed its own credibility with a relentless stream of “fake news” designed to smear Donald Trump and his supporters while advancing a leftist agenda.

Seems to be a complete waste of your time
Revisado: 05-21-21
2 hours in and I have heard nothing new, nor interesting. Its like listening to a 13yo girl cry about how life is not fair. I have listened or read all of Hannity Book, O'Reilly book and Coulter books. I have been reading Breitbart since 2015. I pre-ordered the book because I was so excited.
Sadly I am going to try to get a return of my credit because its crap. Maybe the last 8.5 hours are good, I am not going to waste my time finding out. I will say that Breitbart's writing gets worse every year, I think they need to fire the entire staff and start a news.
Maybe I am wrong, maybe it gets interesting, even at 2.5x speed its not worth my time to find out. It is the job of the editors to cut the crap, clearly they don't know their job.

I am not being hyperbolic
Revisado: 09-25-20
When I first heard about pilot who survives with no supplies for 11 days in hostile North Korea, who was rescued by a disobedient navy seal who refused to give up.... WOW that is a story i need to hear. And I still need to hear it. because this author should do something else. He sounds like a rambling old man that doesn't understand less is more. Talty tells us about dozens of people that simply DO NOT MATTER to the story. They don't shape the characters in any meaning full ways, nor are their actions interesting. I think Talty wanted to sound smart and poetic so he filled up the book with needless adjectives and adverbs. 3 hours into the book I started to appreciate the suffering that Henry Strozier went though having to read this pile of crap. It might get better, but I am not brave enough to find out. Hopefully I can find a better book about this rescue and these incredible men. I also feel terrible that so many people gave this book high ratings. How bad is their lives that they thought this was good. Its possible people do like the book, because mental health problems are often ignored.

Historia
Drawing on his insider knowledge and previously unpublished documents, Geoff Shepard shows that it didn't take long for Ted Kennedy and his allies to smell blood after the Watergate break-in. They set out to exaggerate and prolong the scandal, not merely to destroy Richard Nixon, but to undermine the entire Republican Party and pave the way for another Kennedy presidency in 1976.

Historia
>In this illuminating and informative memoir, an Iraqi translator who risked his life working with American Sniper author Chris Kyle and the Navy SEALs tells his remarkable and inspiring story, offering a refreshing new perspective on the Iraq War. As the insurgency in Iraq intensified following the American invasion, U.S. Navy SEALs were called upon to root terrorists from their lairs. Unsure of the local neighborhoods and unable to speak the local languages, they came to rely on one man to guide them and watch their backs. He was a "terp" - an interpreter - with a job so dangerous they couldn't even use his real name.

Historia
Since the day Donald Trump announced his presidential campaign, the left has waged a demented war against him. Liberals used to pride themselves on their ultra-hipness, but Trump has turned them into weeping little girls in pink party dresses. The very people who once mocked right-wingers for (allegedly) overreacting to every little thing are now the ones hyperventilating and hatching insane conspiracy theories.

Historia
Over 4,000 students gathered at the University of Michigan to hear Republican Party candidate Ron Paul speak. As he began to address the topics of monetary policy and the coming depression, a chant rose from the crowd, "End the Fed! End the Fed!" As dollar bills were lit on fire and thrown into the night skies, it became clear that the real problem, one that nobody in the media was talking about, was the central bank-an unconstitutional entity and a political, economic, and moral disaster.

Repetitive, too long, it repeats oftenen
Revisado: 01-09-19
Ok book, I've always respected Sen Paul and agree with his statement of facts. That said repeating that we are going the wrong way isn't a solution. He does not offer a correct direction in this book. He states a return to the gold standard, yet opposes the gold standard we had and never explains the mechanism that would create a gold standard. I'm glad I've listened to the book, but wish it offered a solution instead of repeating over and over again things are bad, the fed is bad. Towards the end he desperately tries to tie the fed to needless wars. I'd love a follow up that shows a culture that uses a gold standard and how the us could adopt it. Id also like to know how he would end the fed and what would replace it.
