Historia
Collected here for the first time is every piece of short fiction from New York Times best seller Mira Grant's acclaimed Newsflesh series, with two new never-before published novellas and all eight short works available for the first time. We had cured cancer. We had beaten the common cold. But in doing so we created something new, something terrible that no one could stop. The infection spread, a man-made virus taking over bodies and minds, filling them with one, unstoppable command...feed.

Another great story
Revisado: 08-20-17
I really enjoyed hearing the stories that tied the series together. Different perspectives and back stories were great. I love this universe. I hope it never ends.

Historia
When people started getting sick, they thought it was just the flu. My roommate, my boyfriend, my family ...they're all gone now. I got sick too. I should have died with them-with the rest of the world-but I didn't. I thought witnessing the human population almost disappear off the face of the earth was the craziest thing I'd ever experience. I was so wrong. My name is Dani O'Connor, I'm twenty-six-years-old, and I survived the ending.

Good idea but terrible delivery
Revisado: 04-29-17
Terrible. I didn't like the reading or the book. Great idea but the bad romance content ruined it for me.

Historia
Melanie is a very special girl. Dr. Caldwell calls her "our little genius". Every morning, Melanie waits in her cell to be collected for class. When they come for her, Sergeant keeps his gun pointing at her while two of his people strap her into the wheelchair. She thinks they don't like her. She jokes that she won't bite, but they don't laugh. Melanie loves school. She loves learning about spelling and sums and the world outside the classroom and the children's cells. She tells her favorite teacher all the things she'll do when she grows up.

Way more than just another Zombie apocalypse!
Revisado: 10-28-16
Exceptionally well written!. I saw a world where everyone is both good and evil depending on which side of the zombie apocalypse you are looking through. I liked that the fictional zombie plague was based on existing conditions found in nature and followed a plausible path of evolution. My strongest impression was how different survival instincts such as the need for knowledge, the drive to find the answers to why? as well as the need to protect the vulnerable, to love and be loved all play out differently for each character and how a child who is both brilliant and innocent as well as dark and deadly brings out the true nature of each of them. Brilliant story!

Historia
Lyra's story begins in the Haven Institute, a building tucked away on a private island off the coast of Florida that from a distance looks serene and even beautiful. But up close, the locked doors, military guards, and biohazard suits tell a different story. In truth Haven is a clandestine research facility where thousands of replicas, or human models, are born, raised, and observed. When a surprise attack is launched on Haven, two of its young experimental subjects - Lyra, or 24, and the boy known only as 72 - manage to escape.

Good Story...Next!
Revisado: 10-24-16
Overall I enjoyed the story but felt like there were too many holes. Incidences left unexplained that left me frustrated. Don't want to give spoilers but there is one huge incident that is not followed up. This is obviously set up for a series but still could have been more full and telling in this story.
