Historia
In a 50-day reading plan journey, Welch unpacks anger while encouraging and teaching listeners to respond with patience to life's difficulties. This biblically wise resource is a useful tool for pastors, counselors, and lay helpers who are working with people who struggle with a short fuse. In A Small Book about a Big Problem, Welch invites listeners to consider how everyone can find anger in their actions and attitudes, but Jesus, the Prince of Peace, is the only one who can empower his people to grow in patience, peace, and wholeness.

I listened all the way through on a flight and look forward to the help I know is there by taking it one day at a time. It is a wealth of both practical and very powerful counsel if followed.

Grandma was right. You've got to get the weeds by the roots, or they'll just grow back. So too with deep-rooted anger. Moralistic efforts to be patient with your coworkers won't cut it. Regret-riddled resolutions to stop yelling at your kids won't last. You must rip out those angry roots.

Historia
History tells of women whose love for the Bible shaped its earliest and most prominent teachers. It tells of women who were great theologians in their own right, yet whose only students were their own children. It tells, time and time again, of Christian men who owe so much to their godly mothers. Raising children to honor and glorify the Lord is the goal of every Christian mother, but how can you do that? Who can teach you? One of the best ways to learn is to read or listen to examples of women who have succeeded at the very task you are attempting. Come and listen to some of them.

MUST READ!!!
Revisado: 03-25-24
I was tempted to be discouraged by my failure to do more, SO much wasted time on lesser things, how much more spiritual strength and blessing might my grown children be experiencing if I had been more faithful? But there is still time for mothers at all stages to influence and impact their children’s and grandchildren’s lives, AND THE WORLD, for God’s glory! This book will encourage and equip any mother who desires to be used by God in this way.

Historia
Is it harder for you to change and grow as a Christian than it should be? Do you wonder what is holding you back? Have you ever considered that it might be idolatry? Using real-life stories and examples, Brad Bigney shows us how the idols we might not even recognize can still have devastating effects in our lives. In this transparent, honest book, he helps us to identify our idols, understand how they lead us to commit treason against the gospel - and finally repent of them and root them out forever by turning to the only One who can fill our every need.

Historia
In Gay Girl, Good God, author Jackie Hill Perry shares her own story, offering practical tools that helped her in the process of finding wholeness. Jackie grew up fatherless and experienced gender confusion. She embraced masculinity and homosexuality with every fiber of her being. She knew that Christians had a lot to say about all of the above. But was she supposed to change herself? How was she supposed to stop loving women, when homosexuality felt more natural to her than heterosexuality ever could?

I am the Christian person who needed to know it’s not about sexuality, but It’s ALL about God and the message of the gospel. I listened to the book in one day and am now waiting for the hard copy so I can work through it carefully and slowly. I don’t do Twitter, but I plan to share “tweet”-worthy items to encourage EVERYONE to read this book. Next to the Bible, it might be the most important book written in terms of having a right relationship with God.
