Historia
A winter sunrise over the great plains of Russia is no cause for celebration. The temperature barely rises above zero, and the guards at Penal Colony IK22 are determined to take their misery out on the prisoners—chief among them, one Zoya Zakharova. Once a master spy for Russian foreign intelligence, then the partner and lover of the Gray Man, she has information the Kremlin wants, and they don't care what they have to do to get it.

Fantastic, long and feels like Grayman
Revisado: 04-15-25
This felt the most unforced gray man book in a long time. The bands is back together, for a very specific purpose, to get back together. And just like in every book, our hero gets away in the most impossible conditions. Unexpected twist at end leads readers to believe there are more to come. Great narrator, great story and I’ll always buy them.

Before he knows it, he's being hunted by everyone from the Russian mafia to the CIA. Court Gentry and his erstwhile lover, Zoya Zakharova, find themselves on opposites poles when it comes to Velesky. They both want him, but for different reasons.

Enjoyable listen, good baseline
Revisado: 04-12-23
A lot of the same characters, some new ones, but good premise in current(ish) events. Enjoyed it overall, but I can see other unfavorable reviews points.

Good, but too long and drawn out
Revisado: 03-27-18
I enjoyed it fine, but found many times the story was drawn out unnecessarily. Probably my least favorite of the series, but glad we get an end to the story.

Historia
“Why is this town called Mother’s Rest?” That’s all Reacher wants to know. But no one will tell him. It’s a tiny place hidden in a thousand square miles of wheat fields, with a railroad stop, and sullen and watchful people, and a worried woman named Michelle Chang, who mistakes him for someone else: her missing partner in a private investigation she thinks must have started small and then turned lethal.

Not my favorite, great Dick Hill performance
Revisado: 05-26-16
I didn't feel drawn to finish this like other Reacher books. The story felt fragmented, forced, and almost like the writer didn't even know where he was going until the end (IMO). I'll always love Reacher books, but this one just didn't do it for me.

Historia
A major North American hydroelectric dam is blown up and the largest off-shore oil field in this hemisphere is destroyed in a brutal, coordinated terrorist attack. But there was one factor that the terrorists didn't take into account when they struck the Capitana platform off the coast of Colombia—slaughtering much of the crew and blowing up the platform—and that was the Capitana crew chief Dewey Andreas. Dewey, former Army Ranger and Delta, survives the attack, rescuing as many of his men as possible. But the battle has just begun.

Good, not Mitchell Rapp. More political.
Revisado: 09-12-15
I found it not drawing be back in, but the intelligence the author brings the story is intriguing. Reminds me more of Gabriel Alon than Mitch Rapp. While the character is the constant, it's not the real story.

find the story a bit all over the place.

Hoped it was the next Mitch Rapp, but so isn't. Struggled to keep listening. had to rewind a thousand times as I'd get bored and lose interest. First two books go on multiple tangents.
