Historia
Attempting to recover from his harrowing experiences in Mexico, in Land of Wolves Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire is neck deep in the investigation of what could or could not be the suicidal hanging of a shepherd. With unsettling connections to a Basque family with a reputation for removing the legs of Absaroka County sheriffs, matters become even more complicated with the appearance of an oversize wolf in the Big Horn Mountains to which Walt finds himself feeling more and more empathetic.

Book One and Book Two were excellent listens
Revisado: 06-30-14
If you could sum up The Twelve: A Novel in three words, what would they be?
It's Worth Buying!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Latisha - she was one bad character, always up to something. Always a behind the lines leader.
What about Scott Brick’s performance did you like?
He keep the audio moving, easily distinguished between the multitude of characters. This was a very interesting audio. I could have listened to it for 100 hours. Never wanted it to end.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made you wonder what in the world could possibly happen next. There seemed to be a new adventure in each paragraph. It might not be an audio for just everyone however the majority would find it intriguing.
Any additional comments?
I can't wait to read the next adventure and see where Lish ends up. Probably Presdient of the new world order.

Historia
Tony Webster and his clique first met Adrian Finn at school. Sex-hungry and book-hungry, they would navigate the girl-less sixth form together, trading in affectations, in-jokes, rumor, and wit. Maybe Adrian was a little more serious than the others, certainly more intelligent, but they all swore to stay friends for life. Now Tony is retired. He’s had a career and a single marriage, a calm divorce. He’s certainly never tried to hurt anybody. Memory, though, is imperfect. It can always throw up surprises, as a lawyer’s letter is about to prove.

It just wasn't interesting.
Revisado: 06-30-14
What disappointed you about The Sense of an Ending?
It couldn't hold my attention. The narrarator spoke with a monotone and I never knew when he was changing characters. It just wasn't an audio that I could recommend to anyone. I couldn't even finish it.
What do you think your next listen will be?
The Pines
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Richard Morant?
I'm not certain a different narrator would have made much of a difference. It was just an overall bad listen.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
My only reaction could be "boring"
Any additional comments?
In good faith I couldn't recommend that anyone waste a credit on this audiobook.

Historia
Meet Detective Chief Inspector John Luther. He’s a murder detective with an extraordinary case clearance rate. He’s obsessive, instinctive, and intense. Nobody who ever stood at his side has a bad word to say about him. And yet there are rumors that Luther is bad - not corrupt, not on the take, but tormented. He seethes with a hidden fury that at times he can barely control. Sometimes it sends him to the brink of madness, making him do things he shouldn’t - things well beyond the limits of the law.

What a disappointing listen
Revisado: 01-31-14
What would have made The Colony better?
I tried so hard to like this and figure out which character was doing what and it just never jelled. Very disappointing listen. Was definitely not worth giving up a credit. Poor choice on my part.
Has The Colony turned you off from other books in this genre?
Without a doubt.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of David Rintoul?
This narrator actually did a good job the audio itself just didn't grasp my attention. I found myself thinking about other things and not being rivited to the content of the audio.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
None that I can associate with.
Any additional comments?
Too many characters to follow. Too many present day and past history events to keep the content straight. It was not what I wanted it to be.
