Geared toward young mom's but enjoyable anyway
Revisado: 02-05-19
I was reluctant to buy this because as another reviewer points out it's mostly for moms with young kids; working mothers in particular. But I gave it a chance and I'm glad I did. Listening to Hollis for many parts of her book is like listening to a friend give you a really good pep talk. But there are parts when she shares some of her personal tragedies and experiences that are very engaging and filled with "non-meme" like wisdom. Those chapters make the book worth the "listen."

Historia
When he hit the airwaves 30 years ago, John Stossel helped create a whole new category of news, dedicated to protecting and informing consumers. As a crusading reporter, he chased snake-oil peddlers, rip-off artists, and corporate thieves, winning the applause of his peers.
But along the way, he noticed that there was something far more troublesome going on: While the networks screamed about the dangers of exploding BIC lighters and coffeepots, worse risks were ignored.

Great discussion by Stossel
Revisado: 01-15-19
Great discussion about why limited government would be better for the country. No crackpot ideas- just good argument. The narrator (Stossel) talks a bit too quickly in the beginning but the pace is better after the first couple of chapters.

Helpful key points

Has helpful key pints but the big ideas section doesn't contain all the info needed for the review section. Also chapters are not clearly marked; you have to listen to the start of each section to find out what chapter it is. Very frustrating.

Historia
This is a story from the Murders in the Rue Morgue (The Dupin Stories) collection. Auguste Dupin, investigator extraordinaire, was the remarkable creation of Edgar Allan Poe. Written in the 1840s, Poe presented the acutely observant, shrewd but idiosyncratic character who, with his chronicler, provided the inspiration for the more famous Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.

Easy to listen; pleasant reader
Revisado: 01-19-15
Good narration. Easy to tell characters apart. It's a fun Poe story. Enjoyed the story and would listen to these readers again.
