Historia
It has been 20 years since the publication of How to Defend Yourself Against Alien Abduction by Ann Druffel. This new book by UFO researcher Kathleen Marden is the handbook for this generation. It is the essential reference guide for those who have experienced contact with nonhuman intelligent entities, families and friends of those "experiencers," and anyone interested in alien abduction/contact and UFOs. Wide-ranging, informative, and helpful, this is a book that will find a place as an essential component of anyone fascinated by visitations from other worlds.

Straight Shooting Advice and a Wealth of Knowledge
Revisado: 03-23-23
Extraterrestrial Contact: What to Do When You've Been Abducted, written by Kathleen Martin and narrated by Laural Merlington, is an outstanding handbook for anyone who has experienced contact with nonhuman intelligent entities, as well as for their families and friends. This book brings together a wealth of information that is often difficult to find, and is based on years of research and access to the files of the MUFON organization. The various chapters of the book cover a wide range of topics, including understanding modern contact, investigating your contact experiences, coping strategies, and resistance techniques if needed. For anyone investigating or involved with Experiencer's, this book is an essential reference guide. And for anyone interested in alien abduction/contact and UFOs, this will undoubtedly find a place as an essential component of anyone fascinated by visitations from other worlds. The narration by Laural Merlington is clear and easy to listen to. I Highly recommend this new handbook as THE handbook on the subject. There are other books on the subject, and some very good ones, but this book should be the first stop when heading into this subject!

Mars is changing. Seemingly overnight the once "Red" planet is turning to gray. Something is happening, something unnatural. A team of, literally, rocket scientists figure out a way to send a probe, very fast, to Mars to determine how and why it is changing. However, when the probe is destroyed well short of the formerly red planet, it's apparent that Mars is being used as a staging ground. The only viable target for that staging ground is Earth.

Some say that to change the world you must first burn it down. Now that belief will be tested in the crucible of revolution: The Breakers and Burners have seized the levers of power, the smoke of riots has replaced the smog of industry, and all must submit to the wisdom of crowds. With nothing left to lose, Citizen Brock is determined to become a new hero for the new age, while Citizeness Savine must turn her talents from profit to survival before she can claw her way to redemption.

Breathtakingly Marvelous!
Revisado: 09-23-21
Joe has done it again and managed to produce a masterpiece. Joe's ability with character development and dialog was top notch already with book 1 of The First Law series, but this book, is the creme de la creme. And with Steven Pacey narrating the audiobook, this brilliant novel stands out like a spotlight. It leaves one screaming for more, more, more! Well done Mr. Abercrombie, so very well done.

When his brother vanishes, and five years later he's kidnapped as well, he's given a stark choice by his asshat of a father: Go to the UnderVerse in reality, travel to the capitol of that ruined realm at the center of reality, and open a portal for the Noble Houses to return home...or die.

A New LitRPG Force Emerges
Revisado: 04-15-21
I drive. I drive a lot. And when I drive I like to listen to books, I have hundreds in my Audible library. I found the LitRPG genre a while ago and was totally sucked into it by great writers like Alernon Kong and his series, The Land. Like all great series, one eventually reaches the end of it, reflects on how enjoyable it was and moves on. Some friends recommended I try out Jez Cajiao's Underverse series, and I followed their advice. I must admit that I had a hard time following the first chapter, and wasn't sure what I thought. But by the end of the third chapter I was completely hooked, and couldn't wait to listen to it again to see what happened next! The reader, Wayne Mitchell, is a true master of accents and his New Zealander accent for the main character now seems perfect. In that first chapter, it took a bit to get used to, but I wouldn't have it any other way now, it's fantastic. If you like the LitRPG genre, then treat yourself by listening to this book. It's different enough from the rest in the genre to make you do a happy dance, you'll love the characters and I guarantee you will get sucked in. So how do I rate this book and series? 5 out of 5 stars, and Jez Cajiao gets placed in my overall top 3 LitRPG writers... absolutely brilliant. Like me, you might have a bit of doubt during chapter 1, and in getting used to the accent of the main character, but trust me in that if you stick with it to the next chapter, you'll be hooked too! Jez Cajiao may not be the King of LitRPG, but he's definitely a Prince, give him a try mate, and you'll be happier for it. Lastly, I freaking love that his books are about 20 hours long... so much story telling, and I hate it when I have a really good book that's only like 6 hours long. Can't recommend this series enough!

There are things in this world that men and women aren't meant to understand. We aren't supposed to know these things exist, much less how to fight them. The things that go bump in the night, the monsters in the closet, the shadow out of the corner of your eye - that's where I live.

Superb and Fun Listening Experience
Revisado: 09-02-20
I travel a lot, and live on audible books. This one is one of my favorites, out of the plethora of books in my library... it is just non-stop action, and the characters are really well written and just plain fun! I find myself laughing and cheering for the characters and am going to listen to it again after it is over. It is just one of those books you don't want to stop listening to because you just want to see what is going to happen next. IF you are a fan of the Supernatural tv series or Marvel's John Constantine, then there is absolutely no doubt that you are going to seriously enjoy this book, probably more than once!

Revisado: 09-26-18
Brilliant story telling with intriguing characters. Cannot wait for the next book in the series! I'm really blown away that this is a debut novel... it reads so well and keeps one right on the edge of their seat! I've adapted it for my new Dungeons & Dragons campaign and it is the perfect Halloween adventure for October.

A young, naïve but ultimately courageous hedge knight, Ser Duncan the Tall towers above his rivals—in stature if not experience. Tagging along is his diminutive squire, a boy called Egg—whose true name is hidden from all he and Dunk encounter. Though more improbable heroes may not be found in all of Westeros, great destinies lay ahead for these two . . . as do powerful foes, royal intrigue, and outrageous exploits. Featuring more than 160 all-new illustrations by Gary Gianni, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a must-have collection that proves chivalry isn’t dead—yet.

I've been reading steadily since around age 6 and Joe Abercrombie is the new standard by which all the rest get judged. His writing style, characters, and superb plots which tie his books together, have kicked him up on my personal list of all time great authors, to number one. That is all.
