Historia
Although Stoker did not invent the vampire, the novel's influence on the popularity of vampires has been singularly responsible for many theatrical, film and television interpretations since its publication. Required listening for any fan of the genre!

The Problem
Revisado: 04-27-24
The problem with this audible version is the narration. It’s just not interesting to listen to. Even listening at higher speeds makes no difference. The story is the original Bram Stroker’s classic novel. I would recommend other audible versions w multiple narrators and a higher quality performance.

Historia
Bram Stoker’s masterpiece, in which the instantly recognisable Count Dracula plans to sate his dreadful appetites in England only to be thwarted by an intrepid band of friends, remains an enthralling story. Exploring themes of sexuality, religion, technology and good versus evil, and told through journal entries, letters and telegrams, its cultural and literary significance is undisputed.

Talented Superior Narration
Revisado: 04-12-24
A very talented and superior narrator makes the difference in this audible version of Dracula. Johnathan Kimble single narration offers an accelerating, and thrilling performance for each character in book. Even if you have listened, as I have, to other highly rated audible versions of Bram Stocker’s Dracula, this one is still highly recommended by me.

After eight challenging years in Afghanistan, the new U.S. strategy, aimed at winning hearts and minds rather than search-and-destroy, refocuses the conflict on Special Forces: unorthodox soldiers who work outside of traditional military forces to combine secret military operations with nation building.

Unbearable narrator
Revisado: 12-07-23
I tried a few times to listen to the book, but the narrator made unbearably difficult to finish the book.

Historia
No Shadows in the Desert reveals the untold story of the behind-the-scenes fight against ISIS - one coordinated by heads of state and ultimately fought in the alleyways and open deserts of the Middle Eastern battlefield by spies and soldiers. Samuel M. Katz draws upon his sources within the global intelligence and counterterrorism community, as well as the international special operations and espionage fraternity, to tell the story of the covert campaign against ISIS by the operatives who ventured deeply and secretly into enemy territory.

Thank You Mr. Katz

Excellent Book. I am extremely grateful to the author for detail information provided on the war on ISIS. In particular, the author highlighted the efforts and leadership provided by Jordan’s Intelligence Services, and sacrifices made by many other agencies to win the war. The news clips and reports on the war on ISIS does not even come close, understandably so, to identifying the true heroes of the victory over ISIS. This book does. I highly recommend reading it.
