I liked the narration, the characters, the plot, the pacing. Everything.
I liked this book enough to want to have it in ebook format as well as audio. awesome stuff.

Like the story, don't like the Narrator

I've read and loved this whole series so was glad to hear its coming out in audio format.

After getting turned off the J.D. Robb 'In Death' series on audio by this narrator, Susan Ericksen, I hoped that I would like her reading someone else's book. Nope. I didn't like her so won't be buying any more books with her on the microphone.

Excellent old fashioned fantasy

I liked this story, It was long but never boring and had a really interesting plot and characters.
The narrator, Julia Emelin, did a good job. I liked that she carried the Eastern European accent throughout the story because it had the feeling of Russian folktales.

Good 'Classic' style Science Fiction

This! This is what I think of as pure science fiction. I really enjoyed this long involved journey to the meeting of two species, two cultures, both derived from the same origin.

I found this book thought provoking and engaging throughout.
Mel Hudson did a great job as the narrator.

This was an OK contemporary romance but not up Molly Harper's usual style IMO. Just ok. I usually like Amanda Ronconi as a narrator but in this one her voice was kind of grating.

Long and involved but riveting!

This was a pretty long and involved story but worth the time to read/listen. I really enjoyed this new-t0-me narrator too, Jefferson Mays.

The book has an ingenious sci-fi plot, a lot of tense action, really interesting characters, and lots of potential for on-going stories in the series. I really liked the character of Miller. He reminded me of some of the old, tired, cynical police characters in others series like Harry Bosch or Dave Robicheaux.

I will read more in this series but might wait until its finished, which is projected to be a couple more years.

A bit too long but still pretty good.

I enjoyed the tone of this lighthearted sci-fi action story. The narrator, Steve Carlson, did a good job and sounded very much like someone's father. The character, Annie, saved the story from being boring.

I really did like a lot of the characters in this story but found myself getting to the point of wishing it was over because it took a bit too long to move through all its paces.

Dear Book,

Its not you, its me. There is nothing wrong with you but I think I have to be about 30 or 40 years younger to really enjoy your long, meandering (and kind of boring) path to love. You don't have the kind of substance I'm looking for in a romance and, although I really liked Nick and Harper, their love story wasn't that appealing. The sex was good but it wasn't enough.

A LOT of reviewers rave about you so don't feel bad. Its just me.

Your narrator was awesome by the way.

Good classic fantasy

I read this book several years ago and enjoyed it so thought I'd buy the audiobook. It was worth it for this classic style fantasy written with Patricia Briggs skill in developing characters. Jennifer James Bradshaw did a good job on the narration.
