Started good… but then took an odd turn

I do not mind supernatural/ghost stories but this one ended on a strange note. There were creepy parts and definitely suspenseful pieces to the story but I felt like the ending didn’t tie everything together. There were questions that were unanswered and just an overall feeling of uneasiness in how the story ended. It felt like it was a murder mystery and a ghost story crammed together when one or the other would have been sufficient.

Frustratingly stupid female characters

Entertaining but some similarities

Entertaining and had a good twist at the end. The characters and storyline were similar to Verity, which I enjoyed a lot. The characters are not very believable and there are some unanswered questions at the end.

Awesome narration

I loved the narration of this book. The story was very gripping and interesting. I really loved the ending. It was definitely a ghost/supernatural story but the scenery and the characters flawed in an interesting way. A couple good twists and the ending tied everything up nicely.
