Historia
What does everyone in the modern world need to know? Renowned psychologist Jordan B. Peterson's answer to this most difficult of questions uniquely combines the hard-won truths of ancient tradition with the stunning revelations of cutting-edge scientific research. Humorous, surprising, and informative, Dr. Peterson tells us why skateboarding boys and girls must be left alone, what terrible fate awaits those who criticize too easily, and why you should always pet a cat when you meet one on the street.

Take your time and think
Revisado: 04-26-21
Pearson certainly makes you think throughout this book. Well you might not always agree with his take on things, he does make you ponder life issues. You come away with certain nuggets and thought processes that you may have not had before. The value of this book is worth every penny. Mostly, because it makes you think about things a little differently. Some of his examples and metaphors are a little out there, but what would you expect from a clinical psychologist. However, as the title of this review states, if you take your time and think through some of his thoughts it provides in a lighten meant about yourself about others and how you see the world. I highly recommend this book.

Historia
We have reached a state of utter absurdity, where journalism schools teach students that their own personal truth or chosen narratives matter more than reality. In Slanted, Attkisson digs into the language of propagandists, the persistence of false media narratives, the driving forces behind today's dangerous blend of facts and opinion, the abandonment of journalism ethics, and the new, Orwellian definition of what it means to report the news.

Very thorough and specific
Revisado: 12-29-20
I found this account of the media bias by Ms. Attkisson to be highly credible and factually based. Which makes sense since this book underlines the need for such reporting. The book cites specific examples that can be verified by anyone. I come away with a level of disappointment and fear of where our media is today.

Never gets old
Revisado: 06-25-20
The lessons from Jim Rohn never get old and are spot on for success. The book is good - of course I wish it were narrated by Jim. The narrator loses the unique emphasis Jim would put on the really important parts.
