E. Lynn Harris never lets you down!

Total
4 out of 5 stars

Revisado: 03-01-09

A quick, easy and typically enjoyable E.Lynn Harris write. I am so hoping we haven't heard the last of Raymond and Basil. I never was crazy about Yancey B so I hope she and her Mom have been laid to rest. Crazy people!! Zola and Hayden were fun as were some of the other characters introduced. You know you are into a book when you feel like hugging (Raymond), slapping (Davis), kissing (Basil) or hugging (Hayden) someone! On to Just To Good to be True and then Basketball Jones!!

Shane Scully solves another one... An interesting read. Lots of twists and turns. Very enjoyable - and as usual, when it was finished, I wished there was just one more chapter.

His characters are like family

Another excellent book by Stephen Cannell. This one I wish I could see on the big screen or as a DVD. The character John Bodine was hilarious. This book confirmed why I love reading books audibly unabridged. There is just no way you can get the appreciation of a character like John Bodine without the right dialect/diction. I got emotional in some parts. Scott Brick is an excellent reader. I highly recommend this book to Scully fans.

My Sister's Keeper Audiolibro Por Jodi Picoult arte de portada

There is nothing like a sister's love...

This is an amazing book. I think the reading would be good for teenagers and older. As a mother and having sisters that I am very close too, this story tugged at my heartstrings and yes ... I cried at the end too!

Good but too short

Total
3 out of 5 stars

Revisado: 11-25-07

This was a good read. It seemed too short - as if there was a story just on the edge of being told but just not enough time or inspiration. I did enjoy it though as I do most of Scott Turow's writing and would recommend it for someone just finishing a hefty novel and wanting something light before moving onto another big read.

An intriguing and exciting listen!

This book will definetely weed out the James Patterson diehards. If you can get through the first...say 40 chapters...you'll be hooked and won't be able to put this listen down. The most frustrating thing about this book is the number of chapters. Several short chapters in a row have the same title so why not just one big chapter? But once you get used to this it's an easy intriguing listen. Waiting for the verdict had me on pins and needles and I wasn't ready for the ending but once it came it all seemed to make perfect sense but I didn't want it to.
Another amazing creation from James Patterson. Don't give up on this book or you'll miss some really amazing story telling!

I loved it!

A quick, enjoyable, suspenseful read. I couldn't put this one down. Finished in record time. I loved the storyline, twists and turns. A great book to read in between embarking on a heavier two or three part read. James Patterson continues to impress me.

Just O.K.

I can't remember what made me chose this book. Perhaps I wanted to try out the author. Was just o.k. Seemed to jump around. Thought it was going to get to a point eventually so I read the whole thing but it just never seemed to get there.

I couldn't put this one down. I loved the twists, turns and suspense. A wonderful 'read'. I have already downloaded more from Stephen Cannell. I knew I would love him as an author also.

An entertaining read!

This story was so intriguing from beginning to end. Just when you thought you had figured it all out, there was a new, exciting twist. Scott Brick is an amazing narrator and his Southern accent was entertaining. I found myself imitating the accent and enjoying the read even more. This is the first Baldacci novel I have read but can't wait to read more of his work. I loved the main characters esp Michelle and Sean. Please - tell me when the movie is made!
