Interesting book.

I wanted to know more about Alton Blackwood. Other than that the book was an up and down interest book. Ending was not a strong one, but Koontz does not know how to end a book. Read with trepidation.

The story was a wierd one, but it was well told. Kept my interest all the time. Not all will like this book, but that is their problem.

I found that the Ron McLarty was asleep whe he read this book. Orlagh Cassidy was not much better. I have an IPOD, I set it on faster to get through most of the book. Then I gave up. Poor book and very poor readers.

Book takes place in the 1960s. It features the maids of the families. The focus is on their lives. There are several narrators, all are excellent. The book is great and I wanted to drive all day so I could listen to it. Excellent to the 10th power.

Read this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Better than the 7th vic...

Revisado: 09-25-10

This book held my interest more than the 7th victim. Not saying much. Also the narrator left me wandering whom was speaking almost all of the characters sounded alike. I just had finished a Scott Brick narration, boy what a difference. The book was OK until the end, many authors seem to blow the ending. Such as Dean Koontz, The Husband. Well this book was not that bad, but a close 3rd.

This is the first book I read by this autor since '03. I enjoyed ut but at some places it lost steam. But I percivered(sp) the ending was OK not what I expected. That is always good. Worth a read. Scott Brick, need I say more.

This is the final in a trilogy. It is very well written and the title says it all. It is a real Hornet's nest. Read the first two Dragon tattoo and fire. in that order. Plow through Tattoo it sets up the story. Very well read, the same person narrates all three. Excellent read. I want to read more. But I have to wait for the lawsuit to be over.

Historian with loose facts

Total
5 out of 5 stars

Revisado: 06-11-10

It was a good read, but left out facts. Maybe because he wanted to limit the size of the book?? It starts out following the trail of Eric S. Galt, the murderer of Martin Luther King, Jr.
The facts are loose, but the story is accurate to a point. Read by the author. Not a Summer read, but may be worth looking at if you only know MLK by the holiday.

2nd Great book of 3

Total
5 out of 5 stars

Revisado: 05-16-10

This is a strange and can be offensive book. It contains violence against women. The violence is not gratuitous it fits with the story. Lizabeth Salinger is the protagonist. She seems frail and helpless. The story is gripping and holds your attention. The reader adds to the story by his wonderful ability to read the listener. While I detest violence against women this was a very good book.

Poorly written. No plot, seems to go no where. This is a mystery that is not a mystery.I never found out why the bodies were trunkated. Waste of Scot Brick's talent.

Boring, skip it.
