FYI half of the story is told in emails so beware bcos I see many ppl not liking it.

But…

This story was so ADORABLE!!! Towards the end of the story, I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the reveal!! SO DAM CUTEEEEE

It’s also the best story that I read, in this short story series. I’ve read 3/6 of them and I chose them based on the summary and my past experience with their book. (The only author I’ve haven’t heard of/ read at leastin this series is the author of Royal Valentine, hope I rmb the name correctly)

Not as satisfying as I hoped

If u want to finish this series, I think it’s enjoyable but I don’t like the ending.

Many of the plot twists were great and interesting and it was mostly enjoyable.

However, I don’t feel like it expands on the world much at all, the pacing feels off at the start compared to the end (for me) and I, seriously, cannot believe that’s how it ends.

P.S. If anyone searches spoiler reviews, I agree with most of their criticisms about Liesel, El and someone’s parent.

I had no idea what I was expecting. It was quite slow at the start and towards the end it gets better. I read Chain of Iron just before this and I'll say, I prefer that to this. I've heard people say Cassie's 2nd books are usually one of the best in a series but I dont rmb much City of something,😅 City of Lost Souls (only rmb being so annoyed) and Clockwork Prince (blank). The narrator is quite good at making the different voices, though I do get confused sometimes, especially towards the end.

Love it!! But am very sad it ended😭

I love Robbie Daymond's narration, it's great as always. I love how this ended but I'm sad it's the last Camp Half-Blood chronicles.

My main issue was that I (personally) felt didn't feel like there were very high stakes till the last 10 chapters, unlike The Burning Maze (the best) and The Tyrant's Tomb. However, I still love it as this was the ending of the chronicles and that we revisited (almost) everyone. I also loved Apollo's character development in this book. He is so different compared to The Hidden Oracle.

There are many other characters and things I love but I like to keep this short so those were my main thoughts. (and no spoilers so I'm not saying anything more)

Like almost everyone has said, ppl might not like the ending (I don't like it). There were times when it was so slow and boring that I switched to reading the ebook. Fav pov: Zoya❤

SO GOOD!!!

I didn't expect to like this book as much as I thought. Heists are not my thing but I finished this book in A DAY!!!! I was too eager to learn what happens next that I just speed it up to 2.0 which is the fastest I have ever read. (mostly at 1.5-1.8 speed)

The last time I listened to a audiobook with a cast (Daisy Jones and the Six), I had a hard time differentiating the characters. (not sure if anyone else has such a problem) However, for this book, I had no problems at all.

Overall, I love all the characters and the story. Right after writing this, I'm going to start Crooked Kingdom.
