Great YA story, fantastic narration

I loved One Last Stop so I was really looking forward to Casey McQuiston’s latest book. I kissed Shara Wheeler did not disappoint!

The storyline had a few twists which turns out to be delightful! Natalie Naudus has a very wide range of vocals - it brought out the story very viscerally especially when she projected the character’s teenage angst very well! This pairing of McQuiston and Naudus is very compatible and I hope for more of their collaborations in the future!

This is unexpectedly good!

Audible kept recommending me this book but I found the abstract rather confusing and ignored it for a while. The raving reviews by other readers helped piqued my curiosity and I am very grateful. If not for their signposts, I would not have discovered this fantastic production!

Milena McKay is a very promising writer, and I will now be following her publications!

Abby Craden surpassed her previous achievements with the different voices and inflections of the primary characters. And somehow, I found myself being endeared to a non-human character - dear sir Willoughby!

Overall, I highly recommend this read!

Sequel to The Brutal Truth

I was so stoked to see that Lee Winter had written a follow-up story to The Brutal Truth!

However, I am not sure the ice-queen image suits Felicity. Maybe it’s because all of Winter’s ice-queens are older. She is being portrayed more as socially awkward really.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to readers or listeners who loved The Brutal Truth. This has been a very fitting sequel, with some of the loose ends from the first book addressed in this one.

Angela Dawe turned in a fine narration, as always.

Perfect combination!

This book is super enjoyable on so many levels, for its great writing, storyline, dialogues and humor, as well as Prince’s ever fantastic narration! I will be following this new author, Stetz-Waters and hope that she comes up with more great titles!

Is this the finale to Jericho?

I could not wait for the release of this installment. I was not disappointed. A lot of peaks and troughs in the storyline but all is well in the end. Williams’ narration is superb as always! A part of me wishes that McMan will consider a fifth book for this series. If not, this is a sweet end to Jericho and I am happy with the conclusion.

Definitely Five Stars: Dawe was magical!

This is going into my top ten lesfic audiobooks list! I had loved Dawe’s narration in Winter’s audiobooks, but this work smashes all previous standards! Of course Sinclair’s story is magnificent too! Will definitely follow this author from now onwards.

Sweet story and Prince did not disappoint, as always!

Loved the setting, Boston and Cape Cod are two of my favorite cities. Both protagonists, Maya & Ainsley are lovable. The narrator, Lori Prince, did very well with the different voices. I wished the author, Markinson, could flesh out the Carmichael Matriarch’s character a bit more. Grandmother — she can be a good juxtaposition to young Ainsley, both represent female empowerment in different times. Looking forward to the sequel!

Lori Prince saved this book

The storyline was frustrating most of the time, given the questionable crisis communication techniques deployed by the protagonists. Their romantic encounter was very sweet though and Prince’s narration was stellar as always. Only buy this audiobook if you are I) a fan of Lori Prince, and ii) not a PR or media professional (as you may realise how unrealistic the celebrity-centered storyline is).

Another good one by Melissa Brayden

The story is lovely, set in wonderful part of USA which I liked very much, Rhode Island. Narration by Sternenberg was good -- there were enough voice enunciation, tone differences, to determine which characters were speaking when. The story is believable, but yet very sweet at the same time. Overall, I would recommend this book for a great listen to.

Slow start but great storyline in the end

The beginning was a little slow with the animosity between the two protagonists. It got more engaging after the middle when they realized their feelings for each other. I hadn’t thought this would be a nice romance novel after having given up on Casting Lacy previously. Lori Prince‘s fantastic narration gave the story much enjoyment, as always.
