Historia
Three years of her life are gone in an instant. Her memories of becoming a famous artist - forgotten. Of the falling out with her best friend - lost. Of her charming boyfriend - erased. The doctors tell us getting Sara back into her normal routine is what's best for her. But what happens when she doesn't want her old normal? Some would say I'm trying to save ghosts from my past. I think they're wrong. Maybe all of them are wrong. Maybe the best thing for Sara is me.

Revisado: 04-24-25
I read the story when it was first released. I have started listening to audible books and thought it would be fun to listen to. Great narration and it moves along at a nice pace. I bonded with the characters just as well as I did when I read the book. Love this author!

There's no such thing as a perfect guy, but Xavier Rush comes disastrously close. A gorgeous veterinarian giving Greek god vibes—all while cuddling a tiny kitten? Immediate yes. That is until Xavier opens his mouth and proves that even sculpted gods can say the absolute wrong thing. Like, really wrong. Of course, there’s nothing Samantha loves more than proving an asshole wrong . . . unless, of course, he can admit he made a mistake.

Another great story by this author!
Revisado: 04-06-25
This author has become one of my favorites! From the beginning of her books I connect with her characters. In this book she tackles dementia and what that does to a family. She does it in a very caring and sensitive way and if you’ve had someone in your family or a friend that has had dementia you can really identify with it. And then you have the love story and the obstacles that they go through. I love her books!!!

Historia
After suffering horrific, nearly-fatal injuries while covering the war in Ukraine in 2022, Benjamin Hall was told he’d need to spend two years in a hospital learning how to walk again. Instead, he made it home to his family in just six months. Sustained by his positive attitude and relentless will to keep moving forward, Hall impressed and inspired all those who followed his story and progress, with many wondering how they could bottle his seemingly superhuman resolve.

The story of recovery, hope and moving on.
Revisado: 03-20-25
Benjamin Hall has been one of my favorite reporters on Fox News. I read his first book, Saved, and new this book would be just as good. For him to narrate himself brings in the personal side of the story like another narrator couldn’t. His love of his family and going after a story comes out as he tells it. Hearing his story can only make one look at their own life and see what they have had to overcome. His ability to stay positive and work through the loss of his legs is such a strong testament to what a person can get through. Thank you Benjamin for again writing a book that shows the spirit of a human being and what we can get through.

This was a nice easy listening story. I enjoyed it very much. I liked the narrator speaking with an Irish accent that wasn’t over the top and easy to understand. Lydia, and her daughter Sunny, are forced to move out of their home in Dublin. They move into a small house she inherited from her great aunt located in a small beach town. What transpires is getting to see how Lydia and Sunny adapt to a whole new way of living their life and what they discover about themselves. Highly recommend this book.

Historia
The campaign of destruction that Axel Soledad and Dallas Cates wreaked on Nate Romanowski and Joe Pickett left both men in tatters, especially Nate, who lost almost everything. Wondering if the civilized life left him vulnerable to attack, Nate dropped off the grid with his falcons in tow to prepare for vengeance. When Joe gets a call from the governor asking for help finding his son-in-law, who has gone missing in the Sierra Madre mountain range, he enlists the help of a local, a rookie game warden named Susan Kany.

Revisado: 02-28-25
Having read all the previous books in this series, I was glad to see that the author had written yet another good one. This is one of the best series I have read.. I think the author has continued to stay true to the series and has not gone off the storyline of Joe Pickett. Cannot help but love Nate and his story. Now I have to wait for the next book to come out which I hope will be soon!!

When Elon Musk was a kid in South Africa, he was regularly beaten by bullies. One day a group pushed him down some concrete steps and kicked him until his face was a swollen ball of flesh. He was in the hospital for a week. But the physical scars were minor compared to the emotional ones inflicted by his father, an engineer, rogue, and charismatic fantasist.

Boring
Revisado: 02-26-25
I do not know much about him and with the role he’s playing now with President Trump I felt I wanted to know more about him. The beginning of the book was interesting telling about his life growing up. But then when it got into his companies I found I didn’t like him very much as he fired people if he didn’t get his way. Even people that had the expertise to do the job and he had hired them for that. I think he is very full of himself and where I think he is extremely intelligent I’m not sure he treats people fairly. This is just what I got from reading this book. The book is too long and could’ve been cut in half. I found myself skipping chapters after listening to the first eight hours. Where that might have been interesting on what was going on with all his businesses to someone who is in business, to the average person it would not.

Historia
Sleep is one of the most important but least understood aspects of our life, wellness, and longevity. Until very recently, science had no answer to the question of why we sleep, or what good it served, or why we suffer such devastating health consequences when we don't sleep. Compared to the other basic drives in life - eating, drinking, and reproducing - the purpose of sleep remained elusive.
