Richard Sharpe. Soldier, hero, rogue—the man you always want on your side. Born in poverty, he joined the army to escape jail and climbed the ranks by sheer brutal courage. He knows no other family than the regiment of the 95th Rifles, whose green jacket he proudly wears.

The reader would often talk too low to clearly understand what was being said, otherwise a good performance.

Historia
Battling the bottle one day at a time, ex-cop, sometime PI Matthew Scudder finds that next to staying sober, staying alive seems easy. But in the mean streets of New York City it never is. Not for the prostitute who wanted out and got her beautiful self slashed to ribbons. Not for a pimp named Chance who is betting his life that the broken-down detective can find her murderer. And not for Matthew Scudder - just trying to stay alive in a city that knows nothing better than how to die.

Not Much Here
Revisado: 08-04-16
What disappointed you about Living with a SEAL?
No insight in this book, the author goes to lengths relating how he bluffed his way through all the success he has had. This book was the latest bluff.
What do you think your next listen will be?
A Jay McInerney book
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Thick accent, hard to listen to.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Living with a SEAL?
All the chronic complaining.
Any additional comments?
A real bad buy

Historia
More than 15 years ago, Tamar Geller began her career as a dog trainer by observing a scientific study of wolves in the wild. She realized that the socialization and parenting techniques they used to raise their cubs were rooted in bonding, communication, and play: not in aggression, dominance, or punishment. If people used these techniques when training their dogs, she realized, there would be no need for prong collars, choke chains, or any kind of physical or verbal aggression.
