I was a whore in my youth, a killer since my adolescence, and a monster as a man. I am the man who kidnapped Livvie. I am the man who held her in a dark room for weeks. But, most importantly, I am the man she loves. She loves me. It’s quite sick, isn’t it? Of course, there’s more to our story than can be surmised in a few short sentences, but I’m at a loss for justifying my behavior back then.

A disappontment

I loved the first two and listened/read (did whisper sync) both, but I just couldn't get into this one. I think part of it was the voice just didn't fit what I had in my head for the character and part of it was that the story was pretty good being over after book two.

What a fun series.

I love this series. A whole lot of love with some paranormal thrown in. This is the first I have listened to as opposed to have read and It was so enjoyable. I always worry if a narrator will get on my nerves and with Hollie, I never ran into that and I would certainly listen to more by her.

I read the Legal Affairs series and was really wanting to read Matt's pov. I had no idea how much more I would get. Not only do we get to see a whole new side of Matt, but seeing Mac in this new light made me see the whole story differently. You do not need to read either one to enjoy the other, so don't worry about that. Both stand alone nicely. The narrator did a great job when her went back and forth between Mac and Matt. I will probably listen to more books he has read. Great story with great narrator.

Oh my word. I loved this. I am a huge fan of the author and to have a book from a favorite author read to you is always a treat. The narrator did a great job distinguishing between voices without ever getting whiny, which I find oh to common in audio books. I did, however, find out I have been missaying some Scottish terms for a while. Oh well. If you are a fan of any of Claudy's paranormal series, you will love this. It is a stand alone.

What made the experience of listening to Christmas Afternoon Delight the most enjoyable?
I am so glad that I listened to this story on audio. The narrator has the perfect voice for this story. I can not pinpoint what it is about his voice, but he has a quality that makes you not want him to stop reading to you. The story is fun and hot and all that I have come to expect from Kate Richards, but the narration is what made this one stand out in the crowd for me.

Would you listen to The Mighty Storm again? Why?
I love Samantha Towle and was super excited to see this series available on audio. I love how it whispersyncs to my Kindle so I can listen when it is convenient and read when it is convenient and never have to worry about finding my spot. The Mighty Storm is the story of childhood friends who reconnect and find true love. Of course the one childhood friend happens to know be a mega rock star. There were times when I wanted to reach into my Kindle and shake some sense into the main characters, which means Samantha really did her job and created characters that felt real. The reader did a beautiful job capturing Tru and Jake and made the story come alive.
