Historia
Seven years ago the Atargatis set off on a voyage to the Mariana Trench to film a mockumentary bringing to life ancient sea creatures of legend. It was lost at sea with all hands. Some have called it a hoax; others have called it a tragedy. Now a new crew has been assembled. But this time they're not out to entertain. Some seek to validate their life's work. Some seek the greatest hunt of all. Some seek the truth. But for the ambitious young scientist Victoria Stewart, this is a voyage to uncover the fate of the sister she lost.

COOL MERMAIDS!
Revisado: 09-18-22
The concept of the mermaids and the way they operated and hunted was really original, evocative and creepy, and makes you wonder... what if there IS something down there? I suspended my disbelief and just enjoyed the ride. It's a well-told story and the suspense certainly builds... i agree that it's a little self-righteous and implausible in parts, and as someone currently living in Australia, the narrator's attempt at an Australian accent is unbelievably, laughably bad, but apart from that, I really enjoyed it.

Historia
Money's tight and their new home is a fixer-upper. Deep in rural South West England, with an ancient wood at the foot of the garden, Tom and his family are miles from anywhere and anyone familiar. His wife, Fiona, was never convinced that buying the money-pit at auction was a good idea. Not least because the previous owner committed suicide. Though no one can explain why.

Story was gripping, narration was grating
Revisado: 08-20-22
The narrator on this is pretty painful. All the voices he does are weird and creaky, but his female voices are just awful - like scratchy, squeaky cartoons. And he kept mispronouncing ordinary words like “abyss” and “decade”. Given that the prose is already pretty overblown, it added a level of awkwardness and distraction that robbed the story of a lot of its impact.

Historia
Kevin Taylor is an Internet-famous handyman on a mission: Find a house and renovate it in 30 days. By flipping a derelict house in a month's time and chronicling the entire thing on video for his online subscribers, he seeks to become a star. The problems that plague this property will require more than elbow grease to fix, however. Shadows throughout the home are distorted, and an enigmatic trespasser keeps showing up in his footage. Worse still are the hideous voices that issue from otherwise empty rooms in the dead of night.

Interesting ghost, boring story
Revisado: 11-02-21
SO repetitive. If something happened in one chapter, you could guarantee it would be revisited and explained aaaaallll over again in the next one. Remember that thing that happened? Yeah, but did you get it? I’m not sure you got it… remember, how that thing happened like this? And then that other thing happened? Yeah, but do you actually GET it though? I better tell you all about it again, just in case.
There’s basically only one character in this story and he’s a fairly straightforward, boring guy, who makes dumb, implausible choices. Ironically, he wants to be an online star, and has thousands of followers on his DIY channel but despite the fact that he collects what would have to be the most stunning video evidence of paranormal activity ever, it never occurs to him to post any of it. I think that was even more implausible than the existence of vengeful spirits.
Pity, because the ghost is actually quite creepy.
