Great stories, but a lot of repeats. The editing was not done right here.

Loved it!
Revisado: 12-28-19
This was the best story about Thanksgiving and family I've ever heard. I laughed, I cried (a lot) and I couldn't stop listening. It was truly refreshing. Loved the voicemails! lol

It couldn't keep my attention.
Revisado: 03-18-19
I missed a lot while listening and couldn't make sense of some things. I constantly had to go back to hear what I missed. Just not for me.

Historia
When Lenina and Bernard visit a savage reservation, we experience how Utopia can destroy humanity. Cloning, feel-good drugs, anti-aging programs, and total social control through politics, programming, and media: has Aldous Huxley accurately predicted our future? With a storyteller's genius, he weaves these ethical controversies in a compelling narrative that dawns in the year 632 A.F. (After Ford, the deity). When Lenina and Bernard visit a savage reservation, we experience how Utopia can destroy humanity.

Not my cup of tea.
Revisado: 09-18-18
Sorry, but it's not the kind of story I was expecting. It's too boring for me. I really did not like the beginning and couldn't finish the rest. It might have been better later in the story, but it didn't catch my attention.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Historia
A 39-year-old with Asperger’s syndrome and obsessive-compulsive disorder, Edward Stanton lives alone on a rigid schedule in the Montana town where he grew up. His carefully constructed routine includes tracking his most common waking time (7:38 a.m.), refusing to start his therapy sessions even a minute before the appointed hour (10:00 a.m.), and watching one episode of the 1960s cop show Dragnet each night (10:00 p.m.). But when a single mother and her nine-year-old son move in across the street, Edward’s timetable comes undone....

Heartwarming storyline!
Revisado: 06-16-14
What did you love best about 600 Hours of Edward?
Edward's mind. It was neat to hear the way he saw things. We take a lot for granted that he notices everyday.
What other book might you compare 600 Hours of Edward to and why?
None that I have read.
What about Luke Daniels’s performance did you like?
He brought Edward to life. The way he portrayed him was great. He gave him the no nonsense tone that I would have imagined Edward to have. I also loved that you could tell each character apart easily.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, his reaction to his Father's passing. It hurt me to know that he was hurting and didn't know how to feel. Also, reading the letter made him open up the way he was never able to before. I felt for Edward. I lost my father 15 years ago this August. I finished this book on Father's Day night. It made me very emotional, but in a good way.
