Berg gives the lady a grizzly-sized t-shirt and his cell phone, too, just on style points. And then she's gone, taking his XXXL heart with her. By the time he figures out she's a honey-badger shifter, it's too late. Honey badgers are survivors. Brutal, vicious, ill-tempered survivors.

NO. I shouldn't have listened to it.

How did the narrator detract from the book?
I wouldn't have minded the narration shift IF and that's a big IF the narrator had at least listened to the last book Bite Me. She would have known Rick doesn't sound like a mobster, Cella weird, Cella's mom Irish, and BO RUSSIAN?????? Also all of the Smiths sound... like stupid stereotypical hillbillies not the southern drawl we've come to know and love. I'm cool with a different narrator to be the Badgers, I liked the narrator that did the Pride series (though Charlotte Kane is the best) but this was just really really really really bad.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Just.... publishers be careful. This can ruin a series, seriously ruin a series.

Most people would say being stranded in the villa of Spanish shipping magnate Miguel García Arquero on the beautiful isle of Ibiza wasn't such a bad deal. But Hudson Barber isn't one of them. To him, being stuck without a passport in a foreign country far from home is a nightmare, made worse by the fact that the person who did the stranding was his flighty twin brother.

Have you listened to any of Alexander Collins’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, I like his accents and his vocal styling. I noticed others complaining about his speed but I enjoyed it. No need to speed it up.
Any additional comments?
Overall I think narration is probably taste. I enjoyed this light fare from Mary and all her books are excellent!
