Sometimes in between books in a series I'll lose interest and have a hard time getting back into it. Debra never fails to draw me right back in. What a great way to end the series! It wasn't completely wrapped up with a bow on top, but all the pieces were there so you could feel it without saying "and they lived happily ever after."

I stumbled upon this book and was pleasantly surprised. I love Sam. She is a strong kick ass demon/imp whose moral compass doesn't always point north. Its refreshing to have a strong lead female character with a naughty dark side and a sense of humor. There were parts in the series where I thought it might be getting too dark, but I hung in there and it was well worth it! Well worth the listen, but be prepared to say goodbye to your social life :)

I loved this book! I enjoy reading stories with strong female characters , and I was nervous about reading a book about Eve who seemed like a victim at first. The story was unique and you become invested in the main character. Eve's story lifts you with hope, betrays you and then builds you back up again. I can't wait for the next audible book to come out!! Might have to actually buy the book :)

I enjoyed the story but...

I felt like the most important thing to the main characters was figuring out if the other person really loved them. I thought the plot had more going for it than love turmoil and it kept coming up in the middle of really interesting and exciting moments. It made it hard to enjoy the action.

Chills and butterflies!

Let me start by saying the vampires in this book are not romanticized and when Sunshine is taken by them it gives you chills. Sunshine seems like just a fragile girl who was extremely unlucky, but you realize that there is more to her and that she is stronger than you realize. The book builds and leaves you with the same feelings of excitement and uncertainty that you would have for new crush. It was refreshing and unexpected and I really hope that the author writes a sequel!!!

Don't judge a book by its first 3 chapters

I thought I could predict exactly where this book was headed. I couldn't have been more wrong. Im happy I was wrong, but I almost gave up on the series. I really like violet the main character. Her story is worth reading. I find her to be interesting, strong and relatable. Its definitely written for a young audience but I still enjoyed it and got caught up in her story.

I love a kick-ass main character. Its nice going into an intense zombie situation having confidence in your guy. I was skeptical at first with the terrorism-zombie-biowarfare storyline, but I ended up thoroughly enjoying the book. I did wish the book had taken place in an apocalyptic world, this book was more written pre-apocalypse and centered around preventing it from happening.

Hardcore Journalists brave a zombie ridden world to cover an election... hmmm... I wasn't super excited about the story line at first, but upon reading it I was COMPLETELY SHOCKED. This book actually made me cry. I didn't like everything about it.. but I enjoyed it because it was different and it surprised me how lost I got into the book.

The mind of Mark Tufo must be an interesting place. I find myself laughing out loud, horrified, and completely lost in his books. I cant stop reading them... zombies, aliens, it doesn't matter... I'm definitely an addict or groupie. If this makes me biased to all the books than I'm ok with that. I just love being lost in the mind of mike and hearing about the all the insane situations he gets himself into.
