Historia
For years, Becky had known about the rumors of corruption and crime surrounding the Murdaugh family. These accusations came and went, nothing sticking long enough to bring clarity or a clear conviction. Becky had also known of good deeds done by the Murdaughs. She was there when Randolph Murdaugh received the Order of the Palmetto, the highest honor bestowed on a civilian by the governor of South Carolina. What she didn’t know was that Richard Alexander “Alex” Murdaugh was capable of murdering his own wife and son.

So Awful I Had To Return It
Revisado: 09-15-23
I bought this book because I thought it would give some inside info on the trial. It was a Becky Memoir. That's it. I am happy that Audible gave me my credit back that I spent on this book I only listened partway through.

EXCELLENTLY RIVETING!
Revisado: 11-15-22
I have listened to every Harry Bosch book published and I must say, this one was one of my absolute favourites. However, as much as I loved this book, and listened to the whole thing all at once, it left me with a lingering sadness.

Had To Return
Revisado: 10-08-22
I could not listen to this narrator past Chapter 5. Had to send it back.
The part I did manage to get through, however, seemed like a rehash of stuff we already have known about tRump for years. Nothing new.

Totally Enjoyed This Audio book!
Revisado: 10-26-21
Couldn't stop listening. Loved the story which kept moving at a pretty fast clip even with the intricate twists and turns.
Narrator had a great voice and style. After the nightmare of the last Lacy Stoltz book I was never able to finish listening to due to a horrid narrator, I was a little hesitant to give up a credit for this one. But now, after finishing this book, I'm so glad I did. This was definitely a Grisham novel and an enjoyable one at that.

Historia
Once Donald Trump’s fiercest surrogate, closest confidant, and staunchest defender, Michael Cohen knows where the skeletons are buried. This is the most devastating business and political horror story of the century. As Trump’s lawyer and “fixer”, Cohen not only witnessed firsthand but was also an active participant in the inner workings of Trump’s business empire, political campaign, and presidential administration.

Totally A Page-Turner
Revisado: 09-18-20
I've read most of the books on Trump since he's been president, a couple of which I sent back after the first two or three chapters when it became obvious they were just self promoting garbage.
I loved Mary Trump's book and totally devoured it. But this book, "Disloyal: A Memoir", was my favourite so far. There were so many times I sat here saying "Michael, WHY didn't you OPEN YOUR EYES and dump that MF when you had the chance"! I couldn't figure out how someone so intelligent could be sucked in so completely by such a sleazy, two-bit con man. I always pictured Trump as the typical shady used car salesman in polyester suits, white belt and matching shoes with that ridiculous dyed comb-over. I never could figure out how in the world so many people got sucked in by him when to me, he was always so obviously a screaming fake. I never have believed the man is a billionaire, ever. There has never been anything to prove that. Only the word of one of the biggest liars on the planet. No wonder he doesn't want his tax returns revealed.
I believe Michael Cohen when he says he doesn't believe Trump will go willingly when he gets voted out this November. I think he's going to have to be dragged kicking and screaming because he knows once he's no longer president, SDNY will be right there to slap those cuffs on him and take him away. At least, I CERTAINLY HOPE SO! He has broken SO many laws going back decades and decades. Anyone with ties to NYC or Jersey can tell you how crooked he and his whole family are. His old man was a smarmy con man so The Donald learned all he knows from him and has embellished and built on it all over the years. Michael Cohen's book shows just how corrupt and sleazy Trump really is and always has been.
Hopefully, Mr. Cohen will be able to now get on with his life and make all this nightmare up to his family who have stuck by him, literally through thick and thin!

Heart-rending Story
Revisado: 11-15-19
This was a riveting story I just could not put down! Part fiction, part true. All about the infamous Georgia Tann, her Tennessee Children's Home Society and an example of the stories from many of her poor victims snatched into and entrapped in her evil web.

Historia
In 2017, a routine network television investigation led to a story only whispered about: one of Hollywood’s most powerful producers was a predator, protected by fear, wealth, and a conspiracy of silence. As Farrow drew closer to the truth, shadowy operatives, from high-priced lawyers to elite war-hardened spies, mounted a secret campaign of intimidation, threatening his career, following his every move, and weaponizing an account of abuse in his own family.

Excellent reveal of the dark side of this business
Revisado: 10-24-19
This disturbingly accurate exposé on the slimy underbelly of the news and entertainment business was so riveting I had to tear myself away from it just to sleep. I thought I would never see this side of the business so accurately exposed in my lifetime, but here it is. Thank you, Mr. Farrell, for sticking it out and completing this story! You are a brave young man!
