Outstanding Millard does a masterful job of detailing interesting points that grabs the reader and moves the narrative along. The hardships and challenges facing the explorers are almost overwhelming. The underlying push for colonialism by the English almost equals the challenges in Africa today. Great read and book to listen to, but with out the book u miss how Millard uses her research and technique of quotable quotes to build the story. A person needs both.

Welcome back Letty

Not quite as intense as the first story with Letty, but well done. Some parts were too cutesy, but the reader was great (much better than Judgment Prey) Letty is almost as tough as her dad, and has a group of sidekicks as unique, as diverse and as talented as Daverport’s associates. Good job John. Thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to the next. Jeff Lantz

A little gun with bump stock makes a killer

Well then and delivered. RF outstanding. Great message re bump stocks but nothing will happen . Shame! True gun lovers and users and NEA turn a blind eye to problem. Main message is in final 2 of 5s comments.

Great descriptions of dive techniques. Always enjoy Virgil being part of story. RF does his usual outstanding presentations and interpretations. Great story and interplay with Feds and the Lucas. Sorry about B.

Too far

Still one-off my favorite authors and Ferrone is always outstanding, but as an ex prosecutor, AUSA, and defense lawyer I thought our hero went too far. Great discussions about RW groups and differences among them, but end result was a liitle too far. Surprised wife was so agreeable. Lettie would have been agreeable, but wife no so much. Still book was good and pointed out problems w with guns, Washington go alongside Dems and Reps.

Vegas style interesting ending has a bite

Great story. Lucas doesn’t get his man or woman so to speak, but then end result is classic. Well done. RF was great

Interesting plot and developing new associates. Always enjoy how Lucas expands his techniques of investigation through the use of his past experiences. Miss some interplay with old associates and family but JS brings things together at the end. Ferrone is still terrific.
