Historia
This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

Ruined by woke agenda crap

the sound effects were great
Revisado: 04-04-25
the storyline was a little convoluted, but presented jn an interesting way, by withholding info until the very end. It was quite anti climactic still however, as the big "reveals" didn't live up to their hype nor flow well within the characters emotional responses. Basically, it didn't make sense. I liked the dialogue and banter between the characters, however the guy was a bit much and reminded me of a younger crush that has way too much energy and hasn't matured yet.The sound effects were great, the depth perception, etc through voice movement and background noise worked well together.

Shari Franke’s childhood was a constant battle for survival. Her mother, Ruby Franke, enforced a severe moral code while maintaining a façade of a picture-perfect family for their wildly popular YouTube channel 8 Passengers, which documented the day-to-day life of raising six children for a staggering 2.5 million subscribers. But a darker truth lurked beneath the surface—Ruby’s wholesome online persona masked a more tyrannical parenting style than anyone could have imagined.

Historia
Los Angeles, 1920s: Socialite Mirielle West's days are crowded with shopping, luncheons, and prepping for the myriad glittering parties she attends with her actor husband, Charlie. She's been too busy to even notice the small patch of pale skin on the back of her hand. Other than an occasional overindulgence in gin and champagne, which helps to numb the pain of recent tragedy, Mirielle is the picture of health. But her doctor insists on more tests, and Mirielle reluctantly agrees. The diagnosis - leprosy - is devastating and unthinkable.

Unique subject matter for a " starting over" story.
Revisado: 08-19-24
At first I was a little grossed out by the leper aspect of the story, but realized that actually highlighted the stigma that people with leprosy encountered and still do. Also there was a wonderful growth of the title character. Very empowering even facing such dire straits, illustrating how one can find joy and gratitude no matter how hopeless seeming the circumstance.

Great content in general on this podcast.
Revisado: 03-01-23
This episode was especially eye opening. Russell Brand continues to deliver thought provoking content, great interviews and isn't afraid to touch on any belief or subject. He does this all with his general wit, highly intelligent commentary and elevated linguistic style, doused in his cockney-tainted, self-deprecating humor.

Long winded and obvious, but cute.
Revisado: 02-25-23
It seemed to go on forever and get into unnecessary interactions with not much focus on why. Seemed like a lit if "filler " for a story line that could have been achieved in a quarter of the time. The heroine was kind if pathetic, self deprecating and naive, which was frustrating. Also it seems like most of the story happened in the last 20 minutes.(well almost as much as has happened throughout the book). I was not thrilled ti have wasted so many hours on it, but To gice the author cresit, I did want to see where it was going, albeit slowly.

Historia
Cara Alwill Leyba's riveting voice and kinship with her audience drove the self-published success of Girl Code, a book that encouraged women to support each other in the business community. Now her many fans are ready to take the next step: building sustainable confidence from the ground up. Most women who are insecure look for the equivalent of a sugar rush, such as telling themselves they're better than other people or changing the way they look. But those tricks won't protect them from losing confidence in the future.
