This is the first book in the new series. It is a great beginning. As a man from other books gathers his new men. I loved the "good" man who was set up by the military to take the fall for an operation gone bad. Now he has a chance to start over with a new lover and a new job.

Gay awaking story that cost everything but love.

My favorite thing is the bunny slippers. 🐰 🐇 💕 When a cop falls for whore that's trouble. When the Whore comes from a family of murders that worse. When he moves the whore, a murdering genius minor and a glittering fairy and something that may or may not be a cat into his house he loses everything. His fiance, his job and his family.

This book seems to bring down all bad guy from all the other books.

The thing I like best was when the first bind character appeared at the end. She is permanently blind and has trouble walking. She finds her mate at the end. I would love to have had her book. What I like lest was this was the same as the last few/most books. MC is broken and needs mate to heal. I did like that all books bad guys were killed, but it was just to much to cram into the last couple of chapters.

I just can not believe Dane was this cruel.

I have read all of the books in this series and the last time I was this confused was with Jonas book. I could so see Jonas doing what Dane did here. I could so see Dane doing what Jonas did. Jonas was a hard ass who put the Breeds first and yet he bent over backwards for his mate. Dane was a fun loving caring breed who supported his friends. Yet he treat his mate like shit. Almost to the point of her death.

The most interesting of this book was the Hint at future books. The mad kings. Yeah, I am still hooked.

What a sweet killer.

I loved the return to Rune. In this town we know some fun will be had. This book is a nice read. I hope we get more books set in Rune.

Second Chance Romance

I will start by confessing I like all of Reese knightley books and my only complaint is that no all of her books are on Audible. I read the books out of order and that was not a problem. I started with Phoenix and went backwards. Will the bodyguards books even be on Audible? This book is about the reunion of two young men who were separated by abusive parent and the shame.

This was a great ending.

I loved the book. I was left with only one question. Are the queen buggers slave owners or not? I believe they are. I can see the talking bugger as freedom fighter in the future. Some of the other answers to questions may not satisfy, but in life that's how it really is. If you like this series you will love the book too.

The last book is the best! or Is it the last book.

I have read and enjoyed all of the Shadow series. I enjoyed this book the most. To be honest I would like it better without so much sex. It's all the same and gets boring after 20 minutes. The story line is very good and leaves me wondering if this is the end of the series or not.

Too much childhood sexual abuse.

I would not have bought this book if so many cliff hangers were not left in the last book. Well this book is set two years after the last book. No answer to any cliffhangers. Plus too much childhood sexual abuse in this book. It also sounded like this is the last book. Which means no book for the sister.
