perfectly broken up small chapters, easy to follow
Revisado: 04-10-24
I wish I had this as my first audio book! this is all about experiences similar to any Narcissistic survivors. the best part is how the narrator explains the how and why and what to do about it. it's broken up in mini chapters that are about 7 minutes ago. So it's Much easier to follow and easier to remember. if you're truly a narcissistic abuse victim, try this program. it's broken down into small bites so you won't be as easily distracted from the outside world. plus you can go right back to where you left off without having to spend 20 minutes looking for your chapter like some other programs. the best I've listened to yet!

being true to yourself and your deep inner beliefs, living your life and stop giving a shit about what others think, is tough at first. like Joe said, it pisses some people off because you remind them of the life they will never live. because they are ass 💋.

The judgment that we had felt, the pressure and the demands to become what somebody else needed us to be so that they didn't feel anything uncomfortable, they didn't feel judgment any ridicule any self-doubt. Becoming what they needed us to be so that they felt adored and loved. We ended putting those same demands on ourselves, we take that narcissistic power that we've experienced, and we point that power against ourselves. We are still trying to become what they wanted us to be; that was the only...

Best podcast so far (for myself). I was reliving the shit in my head over and over. there is hope in changing the negative voice in my head. Joe is dead on when he says "we are the Judge, Juror and Jailer" of ourselves.

Historia
At some point in our lives, we've all dealt with a narcissist. They only seem to care about what concerns them, they have no concept of empathy, and will drain you physically, emotionally, and any other way they can. There is a hidden world in the families and bedrooms of our society, where cruelty and abuse literally destroy the lives of innocent victims every day. Unseen and unnoticed predators lurk behind pleasant masks, seeking out and destroying their victims.
