Historia
I can’t escape the vulnerability of motherhood. The rage fueling me since my brother’s murder is no longer powerful enough to carry me forward. I want to create a simple life in the Spanish countryside and prepare for motherhood. For the sake of the life growing inside me, I must forge ahead without Robert’s help, Mulberry’s devotion, or my own anger determining my path. The criminal cartel seeking to destroy Joyful Justice plans to crumble the foundation of the vigilante network by killing me. But I’m dangerous prey - more deadly than ever.

another great book
Revisado: 09-07-22
This series does not disappoint. it continues to get better by the book. I've done the audiobooks, because I can listen and work at the same time, where if reading it I would have to be in one spot until I finished the books! Emily has outdone herself on this series, especially with women empowerment, and knowing our worth.

fantastic series
Revisado: 08-28-22
I love this series, and the further I get the more I can't wait to read the next one. The narrator is chefs 💋. if you are looking for a new series to start, this one won't disappoint! if sex out of wedlock makes you uncomfortable, or having more than one partner makes you uncomfortable. These books are not for you. if the LGBTQ+ bothers you, this isn't the series for you. if you love the patriarchy, this isn't the series for you. I can't wait to move to book 10! excellent stories Emily!

great story line
Revisado: 03-16-22
Don't listen to reviews. Not overly sexually. great story, with a great ending. So glad I downloaded the audible.
Little Women was one of my favorites stories growing up, and this book didn't disappoint. There were a lot of twists in the book, especially about the grandmother. There were sex scenes, but not nearly as much as I was lead to believe by the some of the reviews. There was some politics involved, but it was more about how to live with the differences than the politics itself. If LGBTQIA+ bothers you, then this book isn't for you either. But, it certainly isn't because the book was written poorly.
If you are living in 2022 and have an open mind when it comes to relationships and marriage, you will enjoy this book.

Historia
Stephanie Grisham rose from being a junior press wrangler on the Trump campaign in 2016 to assuming top positions in the administration as White House press secretary and communications director, while at the same time acting as First Lady Melania Trump’s communications director and eventually chief of staff. Few members of the Trump inner circle served longer or were as close to the first family as Stephanie Grisham, and few had her unique insight into the turbulent four years of the administration, especially the personalities behind the headlines.

Very Interesting
Revisado: 10-06-21
As a Never Trumper, before that was even a term, it was interesting to hear the perspective of someone who was with the Trump clan for many years. She humanized Melania, which I truly did enjoyed. I don't think anyone really believed Melania could control Donald. I'm sure no one has that power. I am also glad the author did the narration herself, it gave it a more personal feel.
As far as Donald went, there wasn't anything there that I didn't already know about him, but she did her best to humanize him as well. And I'm sure, he is a different person one on one, than he is on Twitter, or in front of the camera.
Stephanie cussed like a sailor, so if you find that offensive this audiobook and the book is not for you. I however, found it realistic and how I personally would have reacted to situations in life, so I applaud her for keeping it real.
I honestly don't think even Trump fans can find a whole lot of fault with her book, she was super protective of FLOTUS. She admits her faults and has had time to have self awareness of things she should have done.
I definitely think it's worth reading or listening to.

Historia
Recently engaged and deeply ensconced in her third year of surgical residency in Chicago, Emily Hartford gets a shock when she is called home to Freeport, Michigan, the small town she fled a decade ago after the death of her mother. Her estranged father, the local medical examiner, has had a massive heart attack. At the hospital, she finds her father in near total denial of the seriousness of his condition. He insists that the best thing Emily can do to help him is to take on the autopsy of a senator's teen daughter whose sudden, unexplained death has just rocked the sleepy town.

don't waste your time
Revisado: 09-24-21
I was very optimistic about this book on audio, the book itself sounded interesting. The story telling was alright, once you got through the first two chapters. I pretty much knew how the book would go, and when, but the biggest disappointment was the ending. who ends a book like that? absolutely horrible.
