Uninteresting characters and a slow plot.

The characters are a bit 2 dimensional. The story is slow and uneventful. Summer is given no flaws or personality. Guy does not change or grow and becomes the bumbling male trope. We couldn't finish it. Kids asked for a different story.

All the characters have the same personality.

It was though to finish this. Ask the characters feel like the same person. The story isn't very interesting but it has its moments. The last few chapters are kinda pointless and boring. The premise was good but it wasn't taken to any interesting places. It had potential but fell short.
