Any additional comments?
If Brian Anderson doesn't know what a "cord" of wood is (85 cubic feet), he should resort to "armload" or something like that. Many times in the book someone carried a "cord" of wood to put in the fire -- nice feat.
Also, "Gewey" is probably the worst name for a hero I've ever heard. Were there no editors?

Where does Limits of Power rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I got it because the story left me hanging, and I really liked it.
How could the performance have been better?
If someone contracts to read a book that is an ongoing series, the least that "professional" could do is listen to the previous books. Angela Dawe pronounces everything, from place names to people names and everything else, differently from the previous books. It's driving me nuts trying to figure out who/what/where she's talking about. I'll finish it because I love the series, but I'll certainly not seek out Angela Dawe as a narrator.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Better writing and better reading.
Has The Sword of Shannara turned you off from other books in this genre?
No. I'm a confirmed fantasy fan.
Would you be willing to try another one of Scott Brick’s performances?
I have before, and found him fine. This one just seems like he's trying too hard to make up for the poor writing by being "oh so excited" and breathless.
What character would you cut from The Sword of Shannara?
They're all poor.

If you do get this book, don't bother with the next two -- they're the same book two more times. Once is more than enough.
