Historia
Twelve humans are left stranded on a wintry alien planet. I'm one of them. Yay, me. In order to survive, we have to take on a symbiont that wants to rewire our bodies to live in this brutal place. I like to call it a cootie. And my cootie's a jerk, because it also thinks I'm the mate to the biggest, surliest alien of the group.

If you liked the first book, continue the series
Revisado: 03-10-22
With reading the reviews I was a little hesitant with continuing this series. However I’m really happy I did, I appreciated that Liz had more of a realistic reaction than Georgie did in the first book. I liked how strong she was as a character; most found her rude in the reviews but I liked her spunky stubbornness, it was humorous. This was a good quick listen that is extremely fast pace- the story line is pretty straight forward and the romance was steamy but not nauseating.

Historia
She didn’t want to fall for him. She had no choice. When magic dwindled from the world, the four kingdoms formed the Society of Crows, skilled wizards and sorcerers bound by the gods to uphold the balance. But as time passed, they became corrupted, demanding that magical humans marry only for procreation, for the preservation of magic. Nava Forrest stumbled upon her soulmate when she was young. A brief meeting with a hooded stranger forever bound her to a man she wanted nothing to do with.

It was just…. okay
Revisado: 01-27-22
I had to really push through 22 chapters before the story really picked up, and even then things were not explained in detail as I would have liked- the world they live in or the magic; nor did I find attachments to the hero’s.
Overall this book was a stepping stone for the larger story to take place that I can assume would be in the Second book to come. However it left me disinterested because of how this story dragged out. The only positive part of listening to this book was the narrator.
