Touching, funny and honest

Jessica Simpson's relatability has always shown through and I think that's why the public has loved her. But as her peer it's so amazing to hear the story behind the flawless pop star that I adored in my 20's. I find her positivity inspiring and I think people will find this book helpful if they too have struggled with an addiction.

I first heard about John Meehan on Real Crime Profile podcast and then watched the Netflix movie Dirty John so I knew a little bit about the story. But this delves deeper into his life and the lives of the people he terrorized before Debra Newell. I really enjoyed listening to Laura Richards on the bonus episodes after each regular episode. I like hearing from a law enforcement perspective and from someone who's an expert in dealing with this type of crime about why it happens, how people can protect themselves and why it's so important for everybody to understand. The story keeps things riveting with different a variety of voices, different experiences and actual recordings. Definitely one of the better real crime podcasts I've listened to.

Practical and funny

It's pretty shocking to realize what kind of financial culture we live in but he does a good job of setting straight the myths and making it funny and easy to listen to This is very practical, easy advice to put to work. Easy to understand but does take the determination and willingness to self-sacrifice.
