Historia
At ten years old, Chelsea opened a lemonade stand and realized she’d make more money if the drinks were spiked. So she added vodka to her recipe and used her earnings to upgrade herself to first-class on a family vacation—leaving her parents and siblings in coach. She moved to Los Angeles and got fired from her temp job when she admitted she didn’t know how to transfer calls. She’s played pickleball with the scions of an American dynasty. She’s sexted a governor. She shared psychedelics with strangers in Spain.

Growth
Revisado: 03-31-25
I have listened to (I have 4 kids and don’t have time to actually read) every one of her books. I love each of them. The spiritual growth she has had reflects in this one immensely. I have always loved her but this one is the one. I’m so proud of her.

I love her.

I don’t understand why there’s a bad review on here bashing this book as something awful. I feel like she’s so so relatable as a mom and wife. I’m an American and a feminist. I don’t find anything wrong or “dated” with their way of life. You have to understand their culture and take that into consideration when it comes to their “roles” around the house and such. If you don’t recognize and understand that his title as “Gypsy King” isn’t just a title but they are in fact literally gypsies/travelers. I think they’re amazing role models and absolutely hilarious. Their Netflix special led me to this book which has led me to buying her other book and I can’t wait to start it. I loved listening to the audiobook while cleaning my own house and chasing after my own toddlers and teens. They are amazing parents and her book was spot on with exactly what I pictured after watching the show.

Historia
From the woman who is credited for launching what we know as the celebrity focused, “brand” driven, social media obsessed popular culture of today, comes an honest and surprising memoir that reckons with that truth, and shows that there is so much more to Paris Hilton than you might believe. This extended edition includes a bonus chapter detailing her motherhood journey.

Wow.

I was in middle school when Simple Life came out. I’ve always looked up to Paris. I’ve always felt the “blonde party girl” image was a mask. It is amazing being an adult now and showing my middle school daughters an absolute icon. The bravery this book took is amazing. The things that Paris is doing for people and using her platform to bring so much awareness is incredible. SANASAAAAAAAAA

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

F***ing amazing
Revisado: 09-18-22
Literally incredible. I can’t believe what she’s been through and that she had the guts to write in out in a memoir and set it free into the world. It was absolutely amazing and awful all at the same time. I listened to the entire book in 24 hours. I couldn’t stop.
