New music and reader so annoying

I’m so bummed. I have recently discovered the Bosch series and been binge listening. Got myself “Angel’s Flight” as a Christmas gift I knew I’d enjoy. Then I started listening. The music track is SO annoying! I wish I could figure out how to eliminate it. And I can’t get past the “Kato Kalin-esque” reader. He’s puking every word. Bummed. They tried something different and I always applaud that but in my opinion it doesn’t work for this book and I am not sure I’ll get through it.

He’s always been one of my few Hollywood crushes. Now he’s my idol. Matthew McConaughey wraps all of his creative skills into this entertaining, inspirational, how-to-life-life-to-the-fullest memoir. I can’t decide what I love best; his stories, his poetry, his wisdom or his delivery of it all.
He is what creative types need...someone to remind us the light is green. Step on the damn gas and see how far you can get before you hit the next red. And if it’s a waning yellow, run the damn thing! I found this book so inspirational and affirming. I will listen to it more than once when I need reminding that living authentically isn’t always easy, but well worth the risks and effort.
This book is a gift to anyone wanting more than “enough” out of life. With humor and heroic stories of seizing pivotal moments, it shows us how the wounded parts of ourselves can be the very qualities that lead us to being extraordinary. You”ll giggle your way through it and find yourself wishing you had the guts to put yourself out there like our sexy leading man has time after time.

I loved this book. Read the reviews and they were right on. Don’t be fooled by the first plot twist, there are so many to come. At times you may think it’s another predictable bitter ex-wife tale but stay tuned. I loved the under-current of human psycho-drama we all live at some level. Love this writing duo!
