Historia
With all three of Armand's late wives meeting unfortunate and untimely ends, is this sexy immortal a lover or a murderer? That's what Eshe d'Aureus intends to find out. As an enforcer, it's her job to bring rogue vampires to justice, even if the rogue in question makes her blood race red hot. Armand knew she was trouble the moment Eshe roared into town on her motorcycle, clad in tight black leather. She claims she's hiding from dangerous fiends, though he suspects something more.

narrator troubles
Revisado: 11-12-19
The man whose voice we had to endure needs to rethink his voice options. Lucian sounded like Kermit the Frog with a cold and Leigh had an unexplained British accent. I pushed through because I liked the story, but will probably just read the book next time rather than listen.

Historia
Thor's hammer is missing...again. The thunder god has a disturbing habit of misplacing his weapon - the mightiest force in the Nine Worlds. But this time the hammer isn't just lost, it has fallen into enemy hands. If Magnus Chase and his friends can't retrieve the hammer quickly, the mortal worlds will be defenseless against an onslaught of giants. Ragnarok will begin. The Nine Worlds will burn. Unfortunately, the only person who can broker a deal for the hammer's return is the gods' worst enemy, Loki - and the price he wants is very high.

Trying to enjoy

I didn't love this narrator. He didn't seem to give the characters the same personality and touch of the previous narrator. Also, because I am not as familiar with the Norse gods, the story is a little harder to follow.

Nope!
Revisado: 05-24-19
It was as if we entered an alternate universe where all the previous books didn't happen! No relationship between Nick and Katie. No Boyd or Willie. NO cons. It wouldn't be bad if you weren't expecting those things, but we were so therefore this book is a BIG NOPE! Buyer beware!

What happened to Catherine?
Revisado: 04-24-19
This book is SO disappointing. This was supposed to be a "Brit in the FBI" story but Catherine Coulters characters play second fiddle to the "bad" guys. Plot was way to convoluted and it took to long to figure out why the "bad" guys were bad.
