Historia
Marstin Hardgrove was orphaned at a young age, forced to live on the streets, and needed to turn to thievery to survive. When a special job assigned to him by the Thieves’ Guild went awry, the guild leadership punished him with a beating, compelled him to eat dirt and rocks to soothe his hunger, and left him to die in an abandoned mine. Unbeknownst to the young thief, when he was forced to eat that handful of dirt and rocks…he also ended up swallowing a tiny dungeon crystal.

Awesome
Revisado: 07-17-20
This was a great story with a new refreshing twist being in the body. And I enjoyed how the authors used all the real medical terms of the cells encountered and how they are used, with the exception of antibodies. In real life they are not like projectiles shot out of cells like homing missiles until they rip through cells where they hit as was described even for the body’s own cells that weren’t controlled by the dungeon core. They float around until they latch on to a matching receptor protein on other cells membranes or viruses. I don’t know why but that bothered me when so much else was clearly defined as attempting to be real life accurate or a mana based fantasy. But other then that the 2 sided story, inside the body and of the character the dungeon core was in was great.

Historia
When Krista and Devin first started playing Glendaria Awakens, they had no idea that they would end up in charge of operating a dungeon. Now, after leveling up, they have a crisis on their hands. A new item, a Dungeon Core, is now the target of every guild in the game. If the Core is stolen and kept away for a length of time, they will cease to exist. Devin must find enough powerful monsters to put into the dungeon while Krista has to build the perfect floor to keep them away from their only hope of surviving.

Great story, if a bit short
Revisado: 05-27-20
First off, I’ll let you know I received this audiobook for free for being a Patreon backer of the author.
This book was the authors second book and in my opinion, he really upped his writing on this one. There’s less clutter from tables and a lot more good story development and I just couldn’t put this one down. No it’s not a masterpiece with layers upon layers of depth so look elsewhere if that’s what you want. What it is is a great flowing and easy to follow story that is quite enjoyable if quite short. And that novella length is really the only downside to the story if you ask me. But there is a trilogy omnibus if you are looking for a more standard length book to read.

Even after pre-ordering the pod that would allow them to play "Glendaria Awakens", Krista and Devin still had to wait months before they were able to experience the newest in VRMMORPG (virtual reality massively multiplayer online role-playing game) technology. The wait was definitely worth it as they entered into a game world that was virtually indistinguishable from real life - apart from the obvious game elements of course. After starting in a typical starting town, they learned everything they needed to survive in this new world.

Short but enjoyable.
Revisado: 05-27-20
First I would like to disclose that I received this audiobook as a promo for being on the authors Patreon.
I enjoyed this book and it was a decent story, however be aware that it was very short, like a novella almost. And this LitRPG is heavy on the tables and stats so this isn’t a good option for listening too while doing other activities. Now it’s not anything too special as I think the author was getting started but I would still recommend the read.
Also note that the whole trilogy of this series is available as an omnibus so if you are short on funds you can give that version a try.

Historia
With the help of an unlikely ally, Fred has secretly obtained access to all seven elements for his Core without the Supreme Council of Dungeon Cores’ knowledge; Fire, Water, Nature, Earth, Dark, Light, and Air are now technically at his disposal. However, despite having access to them all, he finds himself behind enemy lines without the use of any but Light and Air due to his temporary Core he had created back in his dungeon.

A fantastic ending to a great series
Revisado: 05-26-20
To start I would just like to disclose that I got this audiobook free due to being a Patreon supporter of the author.
Moving on, this was a great story that rapped up a unique story in my opinion. It was a take on a dungeon core type story that had a great world building plot to it that changed the whole world by the end. and did it in a way that didn’t need any convenient plot devices or glaring plot holes. I’m not going to say it’s anywhere near a Shakespeare but it was certainly a very enjoyable and immersive story. And for you audiobook fans, this was a great LitRPG to listen to as it rarely threw pages of stat tables that are hard to follow on audio and interrupt the story like some books tend to do every few pages.
Also they was a great closure and long wrap up to the end of this book that still allowed for more offshoot stories in this world but without leaving you hanging on anything from this story when we no the author has finished it. Some might prefer to use there imagination to continue stories after the end of a book but I like my books to not feel like they left me on a cliffhanger. I would greatly recommend this series to any fan of fantasy or LitRPG or dungeon core stories.

Good but I’m biased.
Revisado: 02-20-18
So this is a good story and I loved the druid. But the first half of this book just kept hitting the breaks for me as the new main villain, is exactly the type of manipulative twisted personality that gets under my skin and drives me nuts. I just hated her so much and wanted to get back to the main girl and her journey. But I guess that just shows how well it is written when the villain can bring out that much real distain from me that I can’t wait to see her get her just desserts.
Now I listened to the audio book for this, and while the narrator did a good job, she tries to do voices for all the characters but fails to do more then a few distinct variety of voices and it can get confusing who is talking when they sound the same. But she’s not bad and that was my only complaint so I’ll give her an average of 3 out of 5 stars.
