Very easy to listen to. Story moves along well

The story is packed into a very easy size to digest. This is a depraved story but in a laid back way. Very much reminds me of American Psycho (in a good way). Definitely worth the listen and the narration is top notch

I’ve been seeing Mike recommended in books of horror for years. Finally gave him a try with this audiobook and wow. It gets going like a bonfire and never lets up. The rage and sadness and sick was you feel are so incredible. The craziest part is it seems like something that can actually happen with the crazies out there these days. One thing you leave with is that both sides of the fight a hypocritical douche bags and people that radical are not to be trusted. Great job Mike you got my blood pumping.

Worth the wait

So glad he stuck with it and finished this one. There were so many nuggets in this book from other books in the siglerverse. This one kept me company on many morning runs and I never got sick of it.

Very good book from the first lines

This book starts you off with a creepy scene involving these midwives and then things get going with our main character. He is flawed but is likable along with most of the supporting characters. The story flows very well and things come together at the end for a very exciting conclusion. There’s not a lot of fluff it was a great story. Duncan always does a great job this time is no different.

A lot of the book series I’ve gone through have turned stale after a certain number of books. The Meredith series by book 10, zf series by etna station all just got to the point where as sad as it would’ve been an ending would have been better. This series basically was about to jump the shark with the time travel thing but they reeled it in and said the end. Because of this I can say great job and the whole series was great. Every book had great character development and a great job was done making Jesse the main character over gunny from the beginning. Bravo thank you for the great ride!

If you hang in there it gets REALLY good!

It started out slow, but as time went on it all made sense. The slow build made sense due to the large number of characters and by mid book you are invested in close to 50 characters lives. I didn't think I'd finish this book but I'm glad I did it really ends well too!
