The story telling is great! I drift off every night dreaming of dragons. Definitely worth the listen. I still have all my Forgotten Realms books. I bought Darkwalker on Moonshae back in the 80's.

Historia
Golden Globe-winning actor Michael C. Hall (Six Feet Under) performs Truman Capote's masterstroke about a young writer's charmed fascination with his unorthodox neighbor, the "American geisha" Holly Golightly. Holly - a World War II-era society girl in her late teens - survives via socialization, attending parties and restaurants with men from the wealthy upper class who also provide her with money and expensive gifts. Over the course of the novella, the seemingly shallow Holly slowly opens up to the curious protagonist.

Michael C. Hall gave a great performance.
Revisado: 10-21-22
I love this book because Truman Capote writes his characters in a way that doesn't spoon feed you every detail about them. He leaves just enough room for you to add your own ideas about who they are which makes them more personable and relateable to whomever reads the book.
It's like spying on a play written just for you.

Historia
The Berlin Wall is perhaps modern history’s most infamous edifice. The Berlin Wall: A World Divided is more than just the story of brick, concrete, and barbed wire. It’s the story of a city, a country, and a world - all of them divided. To hear how the Berlin Wall exemplified this division is to gain insights into a central tension of world history: between the human drive for freedom and the political will that would control and repress that drive.

It is the most famous military installation in the world. And it doesn't exist. Located a mere s75 miles outside of Las Vegas in Nevada's desert, the base has never been acknowledged by the US government - but Area 51 has captivated imaginations for decades. Annie Jacobsen had exclusive access to 19 men who served the base proudly and secretly for decades and are now aged 75-92, and unprecedented access to 55 additional military and intelligence personnel, scientists, pilots, and engineers linked to the secret base, 32 of whom lived and worked there for extended periods.

Historia
What could be easier than preventing a servant girl from marrying a prince, especially for 3 clever witches? But Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, and Magrat Garlick face more than they bargained for when they journey to the distant city of Genua. For one thing, their power is limited to Mrs. Gogol's weak voodoo spells, a one-eyed cat, and a second-hand magic wand that only works on pumpkins. Furthermore, the Godmother has made Destiny an offer it can't refuse. Do servant girls have to marry the prince?

How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Eye opening and scary
Revisado: 03-08-20
This book should be REQUIRED reading for everyone everywhere. Especially those who hold any kind of power in society. The observations are chilling and they are being ignored. How many lives have been impacted because of these behaviors. How many people are blindly, willfully or ignorantly, supporting and basing their world views on these assumptions. It is chilling to think about.
