Historia
Your body fights to keep you within a range of about 15 pounds—also known as your "setpoint weight". New research reveals that you can lower your setpoint and end that battle for good by focusing on the quality of calories you eat, not the quantity. With The Setpoint Diet, you will reprogram your body with a 21-day plan to rev up your metabolism, eliminate inflammation, heal your hormones, repair your gut, and get your body working like that of a naturally thin person—permanently.

not what I expected
Revisado: 02-20-19
I listened to the book and have to tell you I wasn't impressed. The biggest issue I had was the author repeated himself over and over again talking about the same thing and taking forever to get to the meat of the subject. this book could have been half the size of he were to simple get to the facts. Also I get the feeling that this is a big advertisement for his products and his workouts. Yes he does explain about the body's set point and how to lower it. You could get the same info by watching YouTube or by doing a Google search.

Historia
Dish up the red meat, eggs, and whole milk! In this well-researched and captivating narrative, veteran food writer Nina Teicholz proves how everything we've been told about fat is wrong. For decades, Americans have cut back on red meat and dairy products full of "bad" saturated fats. We obediently complied with nutritional guidelines to eat "heart healthy" fats found in olive oil, fish, and nuts, and followed a Mediterranean diet heavy on fruits, vegetables, and grains. Yet the nation's health has declined. What is going on?
