Okay, but not great

This story has a promising overall plot, but I found the narrative lacking in both story development and character development. Despite having a star-studded cast of narrators, the dialogue felt campy and cliché.  I felt the sound effects and production did not match the storyline very well. I will not be recommending this, and I will not be listening to subsequent productions.

Good story and great value

I listened to this collection after listening to the first Will Trent book. Slaughter’s storylines are interesting and keep you hooked. I’ve enjoyed the storylines as I find they’re well written and realistic and I’m never able to figure out who ‘dun it before the end of the story. I give the collection four stars for the performance due to the fact I thought the narrator for the first will Trent novel was a better choice. But that would not keep me from listening again or recommending this collection to someone.

The content of the book is fascinating but the narrator was a terrible pick. I’m sure she would be great for other productions, but in this case, the narrator did not match the subject matter.
