What made the experience of listening to The Gamble the most enjoyable?

The narration is excellent. Variety of characters, all most interesting.

Have you listened to any of Emma Taylor’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Emma Taylor also narrated Ms. Ashley's "Breathe" and "Sweet Dreams", also good reads. She's easy to listen to, makes it easy to know which character is speaking, and expresses their emotions believably.

Any additional comments?

Kristen Ashley has a very distinct dialog style a pleasure to listen to (I don't care to read novels written in first person, but do enjoy listening to same). This creation was most enjoyable, didn't want to stop listening.

Linda Howard has long been a favorite of mine and her talents are very notable it this story. Yes, Mr. Gigante does male voices much better than female voices, but we always know which character is speaking. I've enjoyed this audio book so much, I keep it on my iPod at all times no matter how many new choices I've downloadedl, I never tire of listening to it. Great story. Great characters and narrating is just about perfect. Mr. Gigante's narration has led me to other reads of his, never disappointing.

In the futrue I will read the reviews before purchasing...How did this get published? The title is the most interesting feature of this audio book.
