I really enjoyed this one! Plot of the story may seem bizarre to some. BUT maybe not if you’ve heard of some conspiracies with the Elites/ Hollywood. Story had my attention of the start and kept it. I cannot believe the ending!! I need a sequel.

Slow start, but enjoyed!

Personally, this started off slow to me. About halfway through, I got into the story more and it picked up! The story itself was very unique. I loved the depth of the main characters and their friendship. The folklore was interesting! The woods were creepy. Family secrets unravel. Not sure what more you could ask for!

Would definitely recommend reading 😊

I absolutely LOVED this story/performance. The story line, the character development, relationships, twists. I couldn’t get enough! Slasher vibes, escape rooms, reality tv drama, ghosts, etc. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up!

Childhood Fear Unlocked!

Fun read! I really enjoyed this short story. Brought back some childhood fears. Loved the pace of the story and the unique plot.

This story just didn’t do it for me. My interest was there initially and then it took a dive. Felt rushed. Didn’t enjoy the ending for sure.

I went into this blind! I knew people had raved about the book, and also knew of the triggers.

This book made my stomach turn, but probably because I have a daughter of my own. I can’t imagine the things mentioned in this book happening to anyone. It’s sick. Violent at times. I really felt for the main girl, Lisa. I loved/hated Sean. It’s very easy to feel certain ways towards the characters. I found myself supporting a certain character by the end, practically cheering on. It’s hard to grasp the actions in this book actually take place. There was a twist that I personally didn’t see coming that made my jaw drop and had me cussing at a person in the book for their role. The only thing that really bothered me was the repeated use of a word during the attack/assault. But I realize why it was done that way.

All in all, very good book! Definitely one I recommend if you don’t have SA triggers.

I am honestly blown away. I haven’t enjoyed or been so engrossed in a story in awhile! Beautifully written. So much description, but not overbearing. The storyline is unlike anything I’ve read/listened to before. The characters are very well developed. The intensity throughout the story grips you and doesn’t let go. The pace of the story is great. This is truly a book I would read or listen to multiple times. I’ve actually started listening a second time already! There’s a little bit of everything here.. creatures, end of the world, personal battles, etc.

And the ending.. HOW DARE YOU, GAGE!!

Narrating.. Tiffany knocked it out of the park! I felt like a movie was going through my head. All the different voices. The sounds. Creepiness. She really brought this story to life!

You guyyyyssss. I LOVED this one!! I was given the opportunity to listen on audible, and I didn’t want to quit listening even though I had reached my destination 😬 I went in blind and SO glad I did. From the beginning I thought, “oh I know where this is going”.. boy was I wrong 🤣 the narrator was FABULOUS, there were times I laughed out loud, times I cringed, and the setup of POVs was genius!

Do yourself a favor and give this one a read/listen! Seriously, listen to it if you’re able. It was awesome 🤩

John Durgin provides such a nice variety of horror stories in this collection! They were fun. I was left imagining myself in many situations that I hope never happen!
