Stephanie Nicole Norris quickly became one of my new favorite authors. Her stories have just enough of…everything to keep me completely engaged. But this male narrator took things up a notch. When Chapter 9 began and his voice entered my existence, I literally stopped what I was doing and looked towards my Bluetooth speaker like “Who is this man?” Bravo!!!

The mouth sounds of the male narrator are so distracting that I found myself becoming irritated. I couldn’t wait for the female narrator to take over but her parts seem to be much shorter. The series is great and I’ve become invested but hesitate to get remaining books.

The story has a wholesome feel that we need right now. The characters are easy to fall in love with and the plot moves smoothly. I just knew things were going along too perfectly! I can’t wait for the next episode! The silence between each segment makes things feel choppy, other than that, love, love, LOVE!!

I loved everything about this book. Starting with the fact that it is narrated by my two favorite narrators. The way they bring characters to life has me searching for their work. Which is how I discovered this gem.

Robbie Renne takes us on a journey that has us cheering for Jemma, salivating for Ezekiel, and equally angry and sad for Quentin. She pulls no punches in her literary gymnastics and all I can say is: “Way to use your words, Wordsmith!” Well done!!!
